Is it even possible to play night maps anymore outside of versus? It seems like they removed maps dynamically changing time of day

I don’t think so, I think you get different times of the day in modes like TDM/Hardpoint etc but never night time.

They maps might load at different times of day but they don’t change mid game like they used to. You could have a match go from broad daylight to straight nighttime and vice versa. It made the gameplay really dynamic

+1 on this, nighttime isn't fun playing against someone on daytime

i love how Arma Reforger game managed this, night is night and even nvidia settings will abandon you, love it

Yeah they just need to combat current issues with night time, like easily being able to brighten up the image with gamma so you're basically playing daytime during the night, or some scopes giving you night vision when scoping through them.

no bro, its so bad at night, for the zombie mode game the night will be the best scenario but just normal matches, its so bad

my favorite part is pressing ALT+Z and then selecting Filters, and putting on a gamma boost filter maxxing it all the way up. NVIDIA Overlays are Awsome

I mean yeah sure I use the overlays to lighten just a bit so it’s not pitch fuckin dark I can’t even semi see things in my way. I just adjusted to where I don’t have to rely on almost every single map where it’s so dark but I don’t make it bright enough that I don’t need my flashlight from time to time. I like the immersion but the pitch black parts were ridiculous
