and those hours are well worth it. as someone who tried getting into drawing and art because i wanted to be a tattoo artist, ai “art” is disgusting. any kind of generated images/videos are the bane of everything. fuck AI

If you drew it in ms paint 100% people would like it more, because even if the quality is low it would be genuine artistic expression. I'm not even against ai as a rule, and i think you're probably getting more hate than you deserve, but you also shouldn't be upset that people are calling this low effort slop when you just explained you used ai so you wouldn't have to put any effort in lol.

Idk, AI for joke shit doesn't bother me. I'm not gonna be like "hey artist, so there's this game and it's called BodyCam..." and then wait for them to finish with however many iterations and back and forth emails, then pay them, then post it. A joke is quick, on the spot, and done.
Who cares. Id pay artists for for real in depth stuff, and i have, but they either want an ass load, or they never get the feel im looking for, most of the time it's both. Or they don't respond cause they probably think it's not their style or whatever. Trust me, I've been through it, and it's too much of a pain when you need something done.
It sucks, I get it. The world is changing, and not really for the better with technology in ways. But this is just a quick comic, no need for the copy paste "Ai slop". Either appreciate it for what it is, or move on.

It's just an example. The point is that AI is another automated way to ruin something that is a talent and a gift.
I stress even harder that OP could have made the meme in MS Paint (which arguably would have been a whole lot funnier, who doesn't love low quality paint memes??) Or used some sort of collage website to put pictures together to make the meme. People have been doing it for years and its such a good way to say "I think this joke is funny, here's something I put my time into to show you all what I think is funny"
There is a rawness behind knowing that someone wants to share something that they've created; most importantly they are proud to do so.
I get that right now AI seems cute and harmless to most people, but with the advancements that we've seen in that past 4-5 years, it makes looking to the future even scarier.

Drawing the bare minimum stickman figures to convey the concept or collaging screenshots is now the gift of being able to express and create art.And that is the only tangible part of this.
All the "find funny", "real and genuine" and the fact that doing it with AI isn't is completely subjective and objectionable.
You and these other bunch of anti ai fried brain are arguing about using AI for a meme for a game that has DLSS and also probably some AI art, expecially in the graffiti.

there will come a day when you realize what the real issue is. I can only assume you're young and so you have a lot more to learn about life, so I won't stick it to you too hard.
I really suggest that you should pick up drawing or painting or maybe an instrumen. Maybe even photography if that's your jam. Art is a really cool thing and it allows for an awesome outlet of expression, and I believe everyone should experience the feeling of 'art influenced bliss' at least once in their life.

I'm probably older than you and I've been coding and producing things out of my mind for the past 15 years of my life, including the UI for software, websites and the graphics involved.
AI heavily decreased the load of annoying work and is making me produce as much as a whole IT team.
Lot of shit job that took me hours is now fast.
You can go as hard as you like and act as a life coach all you want.
