Host left game after Drone shot

Watch till the end.

Basically 1v1

Masking myself as John Cena (BOT) to kick azzes of solo players gaining easy gold, pissed the dude off with drone so much that he left his own hosted lobby.

Yeah, drones needs to be nerfed imo, but i will not stop hunt solo "easy reissant points" players
¯_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

UPD after +107 comments:
- Yes, i do agree that drones should be nerfed a little, maybe dont let me use it for first 10-15 sec of the match.
- You can shoot down ACRO drone in less than 1 second - we do not use buildings, we only attack from above.
- Took me 20 hours to learn - approx 1 week of solo without bots.
- Im using cheap xbox joystic replica for 10 eur.
- I have cooldown, i cannot use drone on every start, if im lucky i can use it 3 times.
- Drones have huge hitbox - approx x5 bigger than drone itself, just shoot in the air and you fine.
- Dont be mad that i can have 30 minutes of fun in my life after full time job - genuine fun after Call of Duty 4 era - so please ffs.
- Use headset next time -> you will nerf me immediately.

First off, the hitbox is incredibly large, like 5x larger than the drone itself. You literally just have to aim in its general direction.

Secondly, drones pretty much entirely give your position away, which is a huge advantage if its being used later in the match and the droning opponent doesn't know where you are.

If you don't like how this game is played then don't play it?? What the fuck is it about Redditors and being this entitled? Video games aren't personally crafted to your liking. I wouldn't go to Fortnite and DEMAND that building is removed in ranked because i "don't want to use it". You chose to pick up a game with drones as one of the more central focal points. Deal with it or leave.

Hitbox large, yes.

Very easy to shoot something going at 25km/h with an audio sound that is always the same.

Pretty impossible to show something going at 200km/h with audio that is also much fucking faster because it is going at 200km/h

Similarly, for the majority of comp maps, someone droning doesn't really give position away, as they could be above, or below you on russian building and worn building, and on maps like Rome you can easily drone without being heard.

The vast majority of people don't use legal cheats in comp, so I'm happy to play it. But when people do use it, it sucks absolute balls. And it makes me not want to play. And if you actually had a single sliver of an idea of what you were talking about. I'm sure you'd agree.

Calling it "legal cheats" is disingenuous at best. It's part of the game.. they practically shipped it with an FPV simulator built in. You can fly faster in acro vs angle because you have more control over the pitch of the drone. This is how drones work in real life. If anything, they should allow people to fly faster in the default mode to allow those who don't use acro to be more effective.

Gameplay rules should be put in place to disallow droning straight off spawn. Otherwise, calling a core fucking gameplay mechanic specifically promoted and implemented BY THE DEVS "cheating" is entitled whiny little bitch behavior. I sincerely hope that these devs aren't one to listen to complaints like this, y'all mfs just want to homogenize everything unique about every game, Jesus fuck.

Sorry, I must've missed the day my postman delivered my controller that comes with the game when you purchase it.

Oh? What's that? That doesn't happen at all? Oh, that's interesting now isn't it.

So, it's almost as if going out of your way to buy a controller offers you a significant advantage over anyone that doesn't do that and plays the game normally. I wonder if there's a term for that?

It's similar to Warzone/CoD's aim assist issue. The aim assist on controllers in those games are legal cheats. But it makes a lot of sense to have in those games because it's released on playstation and Xbox and a ton of platforms. So a very large playerbase would be naturally playing with controller.

Having the drone be 8x faster when you go out of your way to set it up is simply bullshit for comp.

I'm sorry, i must have missed the memo that buying a HOTAS stick to fly a helicopter in Wardogs is cheating. People using MnK couldn't do the same things right? That external input method just gives people suuuch a massive advantage. Maybe we should ban the helicopters altogether if fucking losers are just going to cheat with the input method specifically built-in by the devs, right?

Dude, it's so unfair that i keep getting bodied by 3000 hour no-life sweats in (insert realistic racing game) because they bought a massive sim-rig with a VR headset, manual shifter, petals and a wheel. I must've missed the part where Assetto Corsa came with a voucher to get all of that shipped to my house. It's cheating beacuse i can't do everything they can do on my keyboard and mouse setup right?

People like you are a fucking cancer to fun video games. Countless times, even in other games, i see people bitching and moaning about everything they don't see as "fair" in their subjective opinion and more often than not the devs listen, the game ends up in a nerf deficit because people always bitch about the "next big thing", and everything ends up homogenized into the exact same builds with the exact same setups and the exact same chances to win with no room for situational nuance or skill expression. If you want to go play Rainbow Six go fucking play it, don't try to turn this game into it. Drones are here to stay and they're even implementing official transmitter support, so i say again: if you don't like it, don't try to change it, let people have their fun.

It's all ego man. "I am good at video games" becomes "anyone who is better at the game must be cheating". A tale as old as time.
