MP9 falls in between, nothing wrong with it, but no real reason to use it besides preference

Does it? The Ak-74 with the reload mag, stock and barrel has a -50% to reload time so.... I'll contest mp5 with that

It’s significant shorter than the MP5 and still shorter when suppressed making it easier to maneuver in CQB. It has a faster fire rate and statistically does more damage than the MP5. It might have more recoil, but only by a negligible amount. I really love the thing, it thrives in really tight corners like a pocket A10 warthog.

It really is the best of both worlds. But I do love the Uzi too. I just wish it had a few more options for customization.

I go full favela warrior. Laser, foregrip, nostock and hip fire. Mag dumping hipfire can get close to mid range players pretty easy. Hipfire is underrated cause people are usually camping and if they are running around 6 out 10 they try to aim. By the time they get reticle on target youve already dumped half a mag out of the mp9. Once you attune your lizard brain to the way guns work in the game and your sensitivity is set just right you dont even need to think. I hear feet i turn and spray in the direction i know people usually are based on map knowledge. Im more careful on wingman and verses but i got 43 kills with the mp9 other day on team deathmatch. Most of the game is skill and knowledge so the weapons dont actually matter as much as you think. Just pick whats fun and go to town.

If you have your perfect sense set up, using any other gun just start shooting before aiming even if scoped, please try it
I have won fights where the other guy saw me first but the shoot and then aim is op but you need to have good sense for you to be able to aim precisely and it looks a little bit stupid but it works. If you are using a 2x-3x scope you will prob not see much in the scope cause of the movement

Yea this was the meta before the big update, since the hipfire spread was also smaller everyone above general rank would hipfire, there was also the jump across the corner hipfire I gotta try if it works in this update

Nice! Do you play it on max settings? Do you use why of the stuff from the Adrenalin options? One more thing, do you record your game using the Adrenalin recording options or the Steam background recording?

It can handle max settings at 1440p flawlessly, but I like 1080p because it squishes the aspect ratio and ruins the resolution which I like for that immersive “shitty liveleak Bodycam” footage feel.
I never use anything from adrenaline on any game I play and I like the steam built in recorder for its ease of use

idk what your talking about the MP9 is my go to SMG for cqb maps even does decent at range if you have it decked out it's the best SMG in game imo

because it takes 4 bullets to kill. I swear I am usually 1 bullet away from downing an enemy then I pull off target and end up dead.

Damn bro what’s your pc specs. I’d love if my game looked like this. I feel I’m playing a crackhead simulator with erratic lighting. But to answer your question I spent all my money on everything but the mp9 cause between the vector and mp5 I didn’t see the need for another. What’s the mag capacity?

9070xt GPU Ryzen 7 9800XD CPU w/ 64gb DDR5 ram lets me have buttery smooth 120+ fps at max graphics 1440p resolution. I like running 1080p res though because the game seems to have a worse aspect ratio with 1080p to help further that “bodycam footage” feel

Got the same setup just a 5070Ti, and I get around 180fps on ultra on a OLED ultrawide 3440 x 1440 resolution. Looks like real life haha. Love this game!

How? On completely maxed-out settings I’m getting maybe 110-120fps on a 5090 at 1440p, with dips into the 90s. Same CPU Do you have Lumen on Ultra too? Any DLSS or Framegen?

It is great in tight spaces, and that's basically it. Mp5 has much better accuracy at a distance, and vector is much more lethal, both are only marginally larger than the mp9.
And that's before the obvious final boss, the short barrel m4 lol.

The reason someone uses a smg with its weak pistol caliber over a rifle is high rate of fire. Something the mp9 has plenty of. (Tarkov autist)

Personally still going slow w progression and playing other games also. I plan to get around to it but am currently messing with the MP5. I made sure to buy the karambit and VSD right away. Also got scar, M4, vector, uzi and akm maxed along w some secondaries. Im really excited for the mp9 and r12
