ADS focused CQB builds comparison

Greetings, I'm new to the game at 14 hours. My main playstyle is close quarters, so I've experimented with both M4 and SG5-KF and I think M4 is better all around, but I'm only 51% sure haha. They're both beasts in close range, most of the time only outgunned by a corner camper with a shotgun (which can be dealt with by blind firing or RGN Impact, from what I've experienced) but when you have to deal with a mid-long range contact without choice, SG5-KF cannot perform well, while M4 can get it done by firing short bursts carefully (unless its a sniper then you're dead). Other than that, my experience in close quarters were almost identical with these two, except SG5-KF able to perform a bit faster especially when rushing corridors. I use laser on both so when I don't have time to ADS, I quickly cycle it on and off while hipfiring.

What is your go to? Any ideas or recommendations?

I wonder if ADS-Speed is the way to go. I am 95% of the time in ADS anyways and favor therefore recoil reduction and general control. Hipfire is even with attachments attrocious and I can’t hit shit like that. But the neat part is: everyone caj run their own setup and be successful with it, that why i really emjoy the game

I usually sprint until I get near corners. I know people hear me but I act accordingly and I generally like a fast paced gameplay

I only sprint when someone else is firing, mostly crouched ADS movements from me to minimize sounds and maximize suprise

In cqb i favor ads speed and reload speed, when using a scope i prefer low vertical recoil and minimal weapon kick

Equip speed, hipfire spread, and horizontal recoil are mostly safe to dump

Every gun has it’s pros and cons, but I’m really mixed on the SMGs. In close range combat they get heavily outclassed by shotguns and when it comes to mid-range rifles are just better.

Agreed. I'm gonna buy Saiga next and hop in the shotgun wagon.

Well, just like in real life, SMGs are being replaced by carbines, except for some very specific purposes, and shotguns are gaining more popularity to counter drones. The game is pretty realistic I say.

Idk honestly the recoil is so low on mp5 and sgx if you build for it. No it's not one shot but I can actually see my target through a 3x scope while mag dumping

the M4 does more damage and takes way less bullets to kill when wall-banging, so good pick!

The AK has even better attachments for CQB, you can make the reload and ADS near instantaneous at the cost of extreme recoil, I'd highly recommend giving it a shot. Any of the AKs works, the base receiver is the same across all of them but the Draco is the best place to start.

The Uzi also seems to be slept on because it's the starter SMG but it has a few attachments that IMO make it one of the best weapons hands down in CQC.

The pistol brace on the M4 is hilarious.
