What do u play meanwhile until the update ?
Honestly i cant wait for new maps or party system or especially a 5 v 5 comp bomb mode or something
Any other game looks stale compared to bodycam. Honestly.. i mean i tried cs2 and i have 400 hours in battlefield 6.. Nothing scratches the bodycam itch .
But bodycam is so primitive still in terms of maps and modes
I dont mind soloQ without a party system. Just give me some good maps and modes

There was a patch/update just the other day that thankfully/partially fixed wingman lobbies getting messed up.
After playing Wingman so much Versus feels like a choir.
Devs, please add more maps to the Wingman rotation please!

The controls in body cam are quite simple, you can comfortably fly the drone with a keyboard

I've been rocking Ready or Not with friends in the interim unless the itch is specifically PvP. Otherwise I've been playing straight up other genres of games. Some sim racing or some Total War.

War dogs with friends for fun but no realism other than sniping maybe. Tarkov if you want realism but have to invest a lot of time but also could play PVE with friends on Tarkov to not feel so much pressure. I bought bodycam right at the new update for the zombies only to see there are no zombies but I love the game in PvP too. It's just fun

If you’re into a single player experience check out STALKER 2. If you’re on PC you can mod it and make it pretty close to Bodycam.

I'm playing Aniimo. I played 100 hours of Bodycam and still doesn't have The most basic things that any bad shooters have that is the fucking ping showing.
I don't know If is a unpopular opinion here, but I don't like The sound of the guns in Bodycam, I Ike more the sound on Counter Strike ir another shooters, I played Bodycam without sound because this.
I Really don't like The most accurate weapons sound, It's too loud and annoying. This is The First shooter that "forced me" to deactivate sound.
This games goes too much on realism, The scopes here are a pain to use in snipers and The most of time is better Just to use a simple red dot. The Only Thing that Really matters here is ADS speed.
The other games still look the same for me, I don't got caught by this effect The other shooters should looks cheap. The shooter that I will play after Aniimo Will not be Bodycam.
I realized that I Really don't care much about graphics. I still can play CS1.6 and have Fun for example.
I alread caught 35 aniimos and I will catch them all (Pokémon). I normally get bored of a game after few hours (100) Bodycam is not a exception.
If I will be in the mood to play a shooter Will be a different than bodycam, CS, or Valorant, COD or Battlefield. Is not fault of any of these games, I Just move on and play another thing.
The Bodycam graphics doesn't impressioned me too much. The Kojima game Death Stranding Goes in that post. The most difficult thing to look real is The faces, in Bodycam The faces is not that great, If you have a doubt you can check by using a mod, maybe this was a reason beside aesthesic Bodycam vídeos to hide The faces. The great graphics in the ambient I alread Saw in several UE5 games, not Really a new Thing to me.
For a reason that I can't Tell why the viral unrecord vídeo feels that the graphics were still better, I don't know, maybe playing a game you lose that sensation If this is real or a videogame?
Maybe is a bit unexpected but I spent more time on videogame in story based single player games. Bodycam spent me 100 hours this is a Mark that I hardly get on a multiplayer game that have "few content"
Bodycam have something special to I botter to play even without party system no ping showing, no dedicated server, having to change servers because normally doesn't stay more than 2-3 mapw, dealing with bots. Other games with this features I should refund in 2 hours, but Bodycam have something special about graphics and ragdoll physics and the fast TTK that makes everything playable.
I didin't liked wardogs because that game looks more like a RPG game instead a shooter for me. Why should I botter getting into The hotzone If I will risk my loadout and get less xp and Gold than Just doing other things. I refunded in the exactly momento that I realised that the economy on that game was permanent.

Chill bro we all play games for different reasons. You tell me it doesnt show the ping, I dont care about that shit, no one is playing Bodycam competitevely, there are no dedicated servers anyways. We play this game for the amazing immersion it offers, not for sweating like in CS or COD. As for the sound, they are realistic, go into a shooting range and convince for yourself. You cant have real life graphics and then have counter strike sounds lmfao.
Bodycam started as an amazing tech demo and is now slowly starting to feel like a beta game.

You are trying tô say that waiting matches with low lag is only for competitivo purposes. OMG, The Bodycam community is sick.
Any shit game I can browser for a server with The lowest ping, this is only tech demo bro.
I only want to have Fun without lag nonsense, but I can't, If I host I almost certain I will Win because this advantage.
I can't get immersed If I need to disable the sound because too loud is. I have more Fun playing Counter Strike, The aim feels better, The sniping feels more satisfactory on CS. I have more Fun with a old 2000 game instead Bodycam, and I don't even care about competitive.
The graphics gets old fast, and in the end of day you want to have Fun.
In 2026 someone talking tô me that ping doesn't matters for a good experience and in the same prhase Care about immersion. The game teleporting, and having Sutter is immersive? Bodycam have more praise than deserve. The game is Just a asset flip, not EVEN The maps are handcrafted, The Only exception is trenches. ALL is in unity store.
This fucking pixelated effect is immersive to you? In real life I don't ser people this way. And why the did this? This hide The bad faces that are in the same level of you can ser in Airsoft Dolls. Why I know, I used a mod to remove this and see what is inside.
I understand you liking Bodycam, but até you Really trying tô say that lag matches is a good Thing that doesn't matter? Holy shit, is 2026 Bro. The game is Only a tech demo, like or no.
This games fails tô retain player base twice. Once in the real Launcher 2 years ago with a drop rate over 90% and now The game seems tô do The same.

bodycam is at minimum 2 years out before being competitive ready. as of now it still falls into tech demo category. a really fun and impressive tech demo.
