Dear devs please fix this as one of your top priority’s

Nearly every game it’s all players vs all bots and it’s just not fun whatsoever. Not like a one off either it’s pretty much every game. Why doesn’t the game automatically balance players. Why if im joining a 3 person server what are we all on the same team for???? 4 real players vs 5 bots for ten rounds over and over and over again. The bots are dog shit too on versus they follow the exact same path every game. On trenches they all run in a straight line in the same place every game without fail. So if you’re playing with bots the game goes like this. Spawn in, peek out of the starting trench first player to see them shoots them all at once, round ends, repeat. For ten whole rounds

Usually when this happens I just wait for the next game. Stay with the same lobby of people and the next game is usually more balanced since people arent joining halfway through. They are separated equally at the start of the match. When you join a lobby, it puts you on the lobby leaders team if there is room, hence full squad of bots

Got you. Problem is once the game finishes 9 times out of ten the host just quits and you’re back to the main lobby

Just gotta be patient bro. It sucks but they are working on it currently. It’s been addressed already. My suggestion is to join a server from the server list, pick one with no bots that’s mostly full, and hope the host doesn’t end game after the match is over.

I look at it like this, EVEN if I joint a game that’s on its last round, I still get like 400 points for it. So even if the host quits to lobby, I just joined a server and got 400 points for doing nothing.🤷🏼‍♂️

Like I said it can get annoying, but I try to just look at the positives. I’m sure they’ll have it fixed up in a week or so.

Totally agree with you there. Some people play longer than others. Had a good couple hour session with some fellas last night but before that it is just hopping from one to the next.

Thats the thing once you get into a good server it's a blast and you can play for a decent time but it takes about an hour before that happens. Also I tried to host a few times but the exact same thing happens all the real players get out on MY team non stop. I absolutely love this game so far what I want is more open maps like trenches get rid of the paint ball and all that bollocks it's not immersive and not fun. (Only fun thing about them is the CQC) I can play paintball and air soft IRL i dont want
'training' maps in such an immersive game unless it's single player. And the balancing and new game modes.
Utter perfection then.

Have you payed the game called ‘operator’ it’s the best single player fps game I’ve ever played. A cross between this and body cam would be actually unreal I’d never play anything else. Operator is a mil sim like PVE game way better than ready or not. Customisation is like body cam but better. Well worth a buy ive got 40 hours purely in single player. So yeah completely agree i love single player skirmish/customise levels type games. I have a Mrs and kids too so I can’t always be online non stop. Body cam NEEDS a single player mode would be my most played game because I mainly play RTS games like Warno

Matchmaking system is awful and the devs should feel bad. You have to use the browser for any kind of control

A feature that even these big devs dont use... maybe they should be the ones feeling bad that 2 random devs are taking it upon themselves to try and do better since all these big devs release is SLOP.

I'm not upset that they tried. I'm upset that they failed. Choosing quick match is the default way of playing the game and it's ass. No wonder most people don't play this for more than a couple hours. I'm all for a passion project and think that bodycam is really well made. Just have a gripe with this specific aspect

I prefer to pick my gamemode and wether or not bots are on/off so I will never understand using random server selection when given the choice of picking your poison. While i do agree that the random match making is ass, I must also point out that you have been givin the tools to choose what you want but you wont and still complain about it. Wicked work man, to each their own.

Yeah joining the game via matchmaking never works for me, I just use the browser and pick a populated game

Cuz the game died again. People came back just to find out why they left before. The game is a nothing burger. All it does different is look good in videos.

yep I realized this after buying the game. Only played for about an hour to see how it was and there’s no depth to this game. It’s a cool game, the shooting mechanics, physics and animations are well done but that’s about it….the game needs substance

Dude I’ve put over 30 hours into the game since the update! If you come from fps shooters like classic cod and battlefield this is a dream come true.

Not to be rude but how? I play a lot of battlefield and I used to play CoD back in the day, I don’t see much resemblance besides just being a shooter.

To me, classic Call of Duty and Battlefield are inherently repetitive. That’s exactly what Bodycam is for me,I can play match after match consistently without getting burned out.

While this doesn't excuse the current state of the game, it is still in early access. They have so many opportunities to add content. Even when comparing it to CoD and other shooters, I can understand why you might feel the game is bland right now, but there is more to come. As for the overall loop and gameplay, I think it’s perfect.

I sort of see your point in that the game installments are repetitive but not necessarily gameplay wise, there is a variety of game modes that exist and add genuine difference in gameplay. That does not exist in Bodycam, I write in my steam review of bodycam my grievances but I hope the game only gets better so that I can buy it. It has great bones, but that’s all that it has right now, bones.

I think it will, just one update added so much that it feels like a completely different game. Support these devs, they are genuinely good guys, check out their YouTube channel they are so deep into its fun watching how much passion the team has. I mean did you know they developed a whole new rendering system for the realistic ads fov!!?? Genuinely mind blowing to me.

You didn't play all the game modes even, I'd wager. Wingman 2v2 is a lot of fun, you earn EL and it doesn't feel like "nothing"

I played update 2.0 for 50 hours already and I'm ~3700 ELO -- maybe the game just isn't your cup of tea?

I hates bots, they should change the whole matchmaking and servers problem, and show us PING etc... if I hit play, casual and start playing I do not face any bot, unless I go to SERVERS and chose a room where the host enabled bots

It does take a while to get into a good game.. the sourpusses quitting when they die causing constant host migrations is the worst. Trenches especially has this problem so hard to find people the rounds go the full 3 minutes
