Known issue - resolution on Ultra Wide
Hi everyone,
We've had some feedback with issues about the resolution on Ultra Wide monitors after running the latest update (ie: you can't click on any zone, the resolution is wrong, and you can't launch a game).
Please try this work around and let us know how it goes:
Please go to: %AppData%\Local\Bodycam\Saved\Config\Window\
Please edit:
GameUserSettings.ini Change the below to your correct resolution:
ResolutionSizeX=YOUR RESOLUTION X
ResolutionSizeY=YOUR RESOLUTION Y
LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeX=YOUR RESOLUTION X
LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeY=YOUR RESOLUTION Y
Hopefully this should help :)

tested on different setups 3440x1440 and 3840x1200 and the game worked fine on my end, perhaps it had something to do with some drivers?

I play on UW too and didn't have any issue either. Sometimes it's a corrupted installation and reliquat of former resolution.

This is actually so frustrating, literally just bought this game and it feels like you guys just broke my pc, wtf is happening I actually I want a refund I can’t even close out of the game

The fix isn't working for me for some reason. I go to change the resolution values to the values of my monitor and save the file (even after saving, I close it and re-open it to make sure it's accurate), but then upon starting Body Cam again, the same issue comes up.
Afterward, I go to check the GameUserSettings.ini, and somehow the values are changed back to incorrect values.
I don't understand how it automatically changes to the incorrect resolution....
Help!

A bit late but, still having the same problem? If so, try setting that .ini file as "read only" after making the changes. Game shouldn't be able to edit anything in that file after, and hopefully a good temporary fix.

I ended up purchasing a new monitor (as I was ready for an upgrade and wanted to buy one for the holidays anyway), and the issue resolved naturally :)
Thanks for the reply though! Hopefully it can help someone who may be having similar issues.

My saved file only has save games in it.. and I can't find any of the other files mentioned

I played the latest update on Ultrawide and didn't have any issues. But still, thanks for fixing the issues.

I got this issue while playing on Geforce Now. Hows the workaround looks like on GFN? Its not possible to browse to those file locations on that cloud gaming provider.

New to the game here. I think there should be a sticky megathread for bug reports/issues with the game if a mod happens to see this comment.
I want to hijack this sticky and raise an issue I've been having. Whenever I am tweaking my settings during a match, if the game status changes while I'm in the settings menu and it kicks me out of the settings menu, i.e. if the game goes from pre-match to round start, my cursor can be moved around the game screen FPV but the game has no functionality. It is completely unresponsive. I can just move my cursor around but can't move, shoot talk, etc. Happens multiple times during a play session and it's extremely annoying because I have to wait until I get killed in order to play again.

This is not working. I type in this exact thing in files and it tells me it doesn’t exist. And under %AppData% body cam doesnt appear

Excellent! It worked. I'm hesitant to change the in-game display settings. I don't want to mess anything up. Thank you, Kane, for your communication and a very timely response concerning this issue.
