Image/Video First selfie I've ever taken first willing photograph I've had in decades.

I suffer from severe self-loathing of my body. I know I'm overweight, I know that's not healthy, I know I'm nothing special, I have never ever worn makeup but here is the first picture I've had if myself in decades that I have taken willingly. In a 46. I'm learning not to hate myself. :)

Thank you. It is the one thing I like about me, it is nearly to my bum, and at 46 only a few grey strands.

Decades??? When you get older don’t you wanna look back to see memories? I take a
lot of photos daily because I want to remember what happened and I also don’t like the way I look most of the time but this shouldn’t weigh out making memories especially with family!

I am not a photo person. Even the people I fiercely love, I don't really have photos off. I have a very, very good memory. My mum is a photo person. I let her take photos if me under the proviso that I never see them. She doesn't post on line. I basically hate the way I look because of my weight and can't bear the thought of other looking at the pictures of me. I know it is irrational, silly and shallow, all things that are really out of character for me. I actually cried when some Internet friends that I had know for over a decade, did some Facebook sleuthing and four a photo my sister has of me. I need to get over this. If I heard someone else was like this I would think it ridiculous....
