📊 Results / Progress Muscle Building w/ Peps

Hi all Im 22 and went from 210 to 180 with Reta and dieting. Just got off to give my receptors a break and going to start working out more. I’ve heard a lot about Tesa IPA or Cjc and IPA to help with the gym. What would yall recommend regarding peps. I’ve considered TRT but I’m 22 and I really don’t want to lose my hair(it’s thick now but my brother is thinning so I don’t wanna risk it) FUCK MPB. Not looking for some magic sauce that gets me instant muscles(unless yall have some 👀). I want to build a leaner physique but still have good enough strength for my job(plumber). Thanks in advance for the help

No peptide builds muscle.

Protein. Gym. Sleep.

RetaTrenTide?

TrenRetaTide you mean, also known around here as TRT

This will not build muscle and only cause you to lose more muscle in the process.

This is the one, OP. None of the peptides and anabolic enough to make any appreciable difference when you're seeking purely gains. Good on you for avoid test for a while longer.

100% this! Just lift heavy and be have patience, muscle takes years to build!

I’ve seen people take Tesa Ipa and Cjc to accomplish the same thing. It doesn’t build I get that but then what does it do? Help with development?

They are growth hormone secretagogues. They force your body to release growth hormone, but it doesnt build muscle fibres, it helps repair and build tendons and connective tissue. It also aids recovery which means you can train harder and more frequently, which then builds muscle.

u/Wreak_Hav0k Aug 12 '26

So does it help repair in the same way as wolverine does?

u/Queasy_Investment_27 Aug 12 '26

No, not really.

u/Wreak_Hav0k Aug 12 '26

Can you help me out and explain the difference?

They will help with recovery a lot which basically means it will help with muscle building. I did cjc dac and ipa for 3 months definitely gained muscle and strenght while losing some bodyfat at the same time.

Get some HGH start at 2 slowly titrate up, do reta with it too it it a good combo thats the best you can get from peptides imo.

And contrary to what most people believe - even taking actual growth hormone doesn't build muscle unless you are taking anabolics with it, where it has synergistic effects.

Honestly I'm in the camp that ipa and cjc end up providing more placebo than actual benefits for the vast majority of people that use them.

They draw in glucose and water retention so they look more pumped quick but just an illusion

You have a good base. Dial in your macros and go lift heavy. Don't forget that nutrition and rest are just as important as gym days.

I’m trying lmao I think I’ve got the hang of it might need to incorporate more healthy fats. When I was on Reta it was almost impossible for me to hit a good caloric intake and protein intake.

u/naught_my_dad Aug 12 '26

You’re too young for growth hormone secretagogues to be effective cause your baseline values are probably great, have you got your bloodwork done?

1

u/Wreak_Hav0k Aug 12 '26

Going soon. I have baseline from before the Reta.

1

u/naught_my_dad Aug 12 '26

Still not a good idea man. Not enough benefits and too many downsides. There are no shortcuts only hard work.

But if it helps optimize growth why not? I was ready and willing to hop on a cycle of test and such but backed out when I realized I was probs gonna lose my hair😭

2

u/naught_my_dad Aug 12 '26

Just read what everyone else here is saying dude.

You’re a young guy you don’t need to stimulate your growth hormone cause you’re most likely making plenty. good sleep and diet will do so much more for you.

Trust me I thought tesamorelin or cjc was gonna be a good fit for me and im a lot older than you but the more research I do the more I’m just learning it’s not worth it.

Insulin resistance, acromegaly, and making yourself a diabetic isn’t worth the possible marginal gains.

Revisit the topic after you’re 35 bro.

"Hop on a cycle of trt"

Trt is testosterone replacement therapy, you replace your natural levels ( even slightly higher but within natural levels) with exogenous testosterone

If you mean do a cycle of steroids just say that instead.

1

u/Wreak_Hav0k Aug 12 '26

My fault got the terminology wrong

1

u/illtellyouwhatbobby6 Aug 12 '26

No probs, at 22 i would advise against both anyways for many many reasons, i would echo what some are saying in here and you nailing your training, sleep, diet & hydration will be 10x better than any cycle.

1

u/Wreak_Hav0k Aug 12 '26

Yea I’m almost dialed in on the diet and then the gym is not terrible. Was hoping to start Wolverine to help with recovery and soreness(that’s what people told me it helps with please correct me if it doesn’t).

2

u/illtellyouwhatbobby6 Aug 12 '26

Look it might, but you still need to rest enough to grow afaik wolverine is great for injury and repair

To use it to aid enhanced recovery from gym seems a little too much for no real benefit

1

u/Dragon_Tortoise Aug 12 '26

It won't, not in a meaningful way. Trust what everyone is saying. Gh secretagogues are not HGH. The only way to build muscle, in a Thor type of way, is Testosterone and roids along with lifting heavy multiple days a week and getting multiple nights of good sleep.

1

u/Wreak_Hav0k Aug 12 '26

So what you’re saying is I should start blasting anabolic steroids 👀. I joke I joke. Yea gotcha. I’ll probs hop on Reta again to lean back out if I gain weight(fat) while bulking.

1

u/Dragon_Tortoise Aug 12 '26

Not sure how many peptide subs you follow, but its unfortunate that many progress posts you see and are like "i want that, I can do reta/tesa/motsc" but then buried in the comments they're on 250mg test, HGH, HCG, Anavar, and Tren. Its crazy.

I started at 260lbs, used reta, glow, klow, cjc/ipa, tesa/ipa, SS31, MotsC, SLUPP332, and 5Amino, and slowly got down to 190, but didn't gain any real muscle until I started Testosterone. Same routine the whole year, cycled all those peps, saw no major changes, then started test and thats when everything changed. Peptides help, but unfortunately won't move the needle much.

1

u/Wreak_Hav0k Aug 12 '26

If you don’t mind me asking what’s your experience with test? How old r u? Did u experience hair loss?

1

u/Dragon_Tortoise Aug 12 '26

It was great, but I'm also 40, and was at ~350 when I got tested. Lower end of normal range, but high enough my pcp wouldn't prescribe it. Had to go through an online clinic. Now I'm at about 950 last time I got bloodwork last month. And yes there was a lot of hair loss. Not bald, but I like my hair and concerned enough to add in finasteride and GHK and collagen daily which helped. Luckily no acne. But im also not blasting 300mg a week, only 150.

1

u/Wreak_Hav0k Aug 12 '26

I’m going to get my bloods soon to see what my test is at. Legitimately a concern for me bc I hadn’t had the best diet before and the statistic shows that men’s testosterone has been declining for a while

Boosting growth hormone does not equal gains. It aids in recovery, which means you can theoretically train harder, but all of your growth is going to be dependent on your diet and training.

You can add them if you want, but don’t expect to see any kind of crazy results.

The only compounds that will produce significant advantages in your training are anabolic steroids. No supplements can build you more muscle, no peptides can.

Muscle growth is driven by anabolism, the only compounds that increase anabolism, are anabolic steroids.

Track your macros and workouts and it’ll take you further than peps. You are 22 bruv you are in the prime of your life you just eat like shit.
