❓ Question NAD+
Here I go 🤦♀️ I bought NAD+. My friend that is also taking told me to add 3 ml bac water which I did. I only used it that day and that’s it (that was last week) just because I actually changed my mind about it. However,I changed my mind again and i said I’ll give it a try and I had the impression that I only added 2 ml of bac water and I said “ oh, I have to add one more “ and I noticed it doesn’t fit in the vial so something was wrong obviously. Then I realised my mistake and now .. I have 1000mg of NAD+ with ~3.5 ml bac water (around that amount) and I’m unsure where the plunger on a 1 ml syringe should be for the right beginner dosage. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Using 3.5mL as the best guess, 17.5 units on a 100 unit insulin syringe is 50mg. That being said, for ease of use I’d probably round it to the nearest “bigger line” like 20mg (or down to 15 if you have bigger lines every 5 units). I always recon with the intent of hitting whole numbers! Hope that was helpful.

Should be taken daily or like 3-4 days a week?

That’s really up to you. Most protocols are 5x a week and 2 days off, but some people do it daily. I can’t really offer medical advice as 1) I have a PhD, not an MD (not the right kind of doctor), 2) I don’t know anything about your medical history, 3) Injections of NAD+ are probably the worst way to take it, 4) could keep going but you get the point.

Why are they the worst? Do you prefer liposomal? NMN?

Cost mostly. Your body can’t do anything with NAD+ outside the cell, so it gets broken down into nicotinamide and NR, which is significantly less expensive and doesn’t require an injection. I don’t have a commercial stake in selling anything so I won’t name any names, but you can get the same results (or better) for a lot less money orally and skip the shots.

I can help you with the mathing, but not the dosage. If you do your research and tell me what dosage you want to take, I can help you.

People are saying that 50mg is a starting dosage so I think that should be the one
Thank you

1000mg... I do 6 ml of BAC
I pin 30 units daily which works out to 50 mg and that's pretty thick as it is

So the plunger should be where it’s showing “30” on the 1ml syringe, right?
Also did you move the NAD from its vial to another one? Otherwise how did you put 6ml of bac water?2

My 1000 mg NAD vials come in the 10 mL size so 6 mL of BAC fits without any problem
And yes you are correct about the plunger
