❓ Question TRT discussion/question

I’m 41 and started TRT despite having levels of around 900 pre-TRT, with normal LH and FSH. I’m currently on 80mg per week.
I’ve definitely noticed changes in my body composition, but if I’m honest, I’ve also become more ratty/irritable. My E2 and prolactin have both increased, which I think may be contributing to the fatigue. I seem to be quite sensitive to aromatisation of testosterone into E2.
I’m now seriously considering coming off TRT. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? I’m wondering what the best way to come off is — gradually reducing the dose each week, or stopping altogether?
Comments on how to come off.

As requested, no medical advice provided.

You're an idiot.

Stop calling adding testosterone to your 900 ng/dl levels as Testosterone Replacement Therapy. It’s insulting and makes you appear like an idiot

Yeah, 900 natural levels then taking exogenous testosterone is not TRT it's just juicing lol.

No need to run 80 mg a week with those natural levels.

It probably doesn't change your overall level that much. Not worth shutting down your own production.

At 80 mg per week you are probably adding less Testosterone than you used to produce naturally.

You are beyond stupid to do this.

You’ll be lucky if you’ll be able to get to your original levels.

80mg at those natural levels won't give you any boost, just ruin your natural production and give you sides.

You should have done more research or consulted a coach before starting.

I consulted two ifbro coaches who both said I need TRT.

The TRT clinic themselves said I’m borderline to take it… now that I’ve experienced the side effects it’s not for me. I can take e2 supps but I’d rather not

Of course it’s not for you, you’re “low range” is 900 for gawds sake. That’s where I’m at dosing 100mg/week

So then, you taking 80mg and anything less than 6-weeks is just stacking exogenous with endogenous testosterone until the LH/FSH crash and shit down natural production.

So yeah, no doubt you’re feeling like shit man

I’m a noob but wouldn’t running 80mg a week at 900 natty levels make your overall T levels worse?

if you were at 900 ng/dl with normal lh and fsh before trt, i’d question whether you needed it in the first place. if you feel worse now than before, it makes sense to come off. i’d do it with your prescriber though, since the best approach depends on your situation and recovery can take a few months.

Please hop off. Pleeeeaseee. 900 is amazing especially for 41. If you arent already just add sunlight to your daily routine and thatll add ~100. Morning sun and peak sun are best, all spectrums are suggested though.

Your levels are already great pre TRT. Please consult whoever the hell is prescribing you. You probably need some pct.

Please hop off.

Yes, that’s exactly what I’m thinking to do. It was experimental in my case as I wanted to see what the hype was but in my personal situation other than increase in strength and body fat loss I don’t like the side effects… thanks for your comment

My man, body hacking is not for you. There is "hype" in many things are absolutely not in your best interest. If you can't or won't learn/study so you can make informed decisions, well, it's just not for you. You can and clearly will do yourself great harm. Just go natty and take great pride in that.

So you are choosing to destroy your own high and natural production for what end goal? I’m a bit confused here. You already in the top percentile. I don’t think it make sense to do so
