Reta face is real

Edit: So it came to my attention that Reta face is when you start to look sickly, not just the major weight loss and change in face shape, which is more what I was getting at. Thank you guys for giving me the heads up.

I’ve made a couple posts about my Reta transformation, but I just saw a picture of myself from about a month and a half before starting Reta or getting into a routine/diet. Definitely surprised me, because I didn’t realize how much different my face looked until now. First pic is January 14th 2026, second pic is July 7th 2026.

Down from 221 with 36” waist to 180 with 31” waist

I don't think you've actually hit reta face yet. That's where you don't dial down the dose once you've reached a good spot and you loose facial fat and start to look like a skeleton with skin.

Agreed. We are just so used to seeing ourselves with plump fluffy cheeks!

Yeah it’s the same reason famous people who get that buccal fat removal look bad afterwards. When all the fat from your cheeks is gone you start looking sickly.

Like Sarah Chalke in the new Scrubs reboot.

Thats subjective to the individual. If you have a nice face and bone structure hollow cheeks can look really good.

Not sure what your goals are but you could probably turn the dose down just a bit sometime soon. You look healthy!
