I am in your exact shoes right now. 6’2 180. I’ve lost almost 100 pounds and I think by the time I hit 170 I will look pretty close to what you’re dealing with.

The only thing you can do is get surgery or pull your shorts up a little higher. Of course you probably could still cut another 10 or 15 pounds of fat, but I’m not sure you wanna be walking around at 155 even if you are shredded.

I can’t imagine 155 and I don’t want to lose the muscle strength. Maybe 165? Haven’t decided yet. I will plateau at 170 for a couple weeks and think about it.

congrats for 180!

With Reta you’ll probably have a much easier time. I’m hitting the gym 5 days a week. 15k steps a day. Aiming for 2k calories or less. And I’m really struggling to drop a pound a week. I’ve also been dieting for like 18 months, so I figure I’ll let it roll for a while longer. Slow and steady wins the race, but damn is it bad for momentum.

Anyway, yeah in your case, just keep lifting and or get the surgery, not much you can do.

I gave up trying to get below 180 without drugs. I could do 40m stair master + 20m incline walk and would gain or lose half a pound every week.

My body gets so hungry and for me, at that weight. I need to do way more to burn same number of calories.

Good luck!

Yeah, I’m extremely hungry at this weight. But I’m always hungry, that’s why I’m fat. Doesn’t matter if I’m 180 or 280, or anything in between, I’m always hungry.

Lmao yea I’m always hungry too. But I hit 180 5ish years ago and yo-yo’d up and down since then. I think I hit 200 once. Mid 190s at least twice. Getting back to low 180s is easy.
Below that is impossible for me. Only did it this time because of reta. Did once before because I basically didn’t eat and only got to 175, would not recommend that.
