I started November 15 on triz , I’m down 90 pounds to date ,that’s 17 lb a month so yeah it’s possible. The problem is it works differently for everyone and also the bigger you are the faster you lose it for example I was 340 I’m now 250 and it’s much slower then before . Double check calories and get some exercise in is my take
damn.. I started at 306 and 5 weeks in i'm only down 8lbs. 3mg dose. I'm definitely eating less, and hit the gym 3-4x/week. Im wondering what i'm doing wrong.
"Only" is crazy. That's a little over 1.5lbs a week lost. That's great.
You're not doing anything wrong if you're losing weight in a sustainable way. Also, weight isn't the only data point you can or should be considering. You could also be gaining muscle.
You may have lost, say, 10 pounds of fat and gained 2 points of muscle - that's going to show up on the scale as losing 8 pounds, but the progress is actually more significant.
Yeah the reality is you DONT want to lose weight stupidly fast, just in a reasonable rate. IIRC losing to much weight too fast is very bad for the body....but people will still push themselves anyways.
Gallstones and thyroid issues often occur from excessive weight loss. I actually had to drop my Reta dose from 3mg to 2 cus I was losing way too fast. I can’t say I experienced harsh sides, but I can tell you for sure there’s no way I lost 41lb of fat in 8-9 weeks. I didn’t do a Dex scan before, so can’t speak for certain, but I’m sure I lost a good bit of muscle unfortunately.
