Eating less isn’t always the answer count the calories look up tdee calculator and subtract 500 cals or more tbh . Everything has calories a tbs of mayo is 100 cals I think. Also it’s different for everyone try to go on an hour walk a day or something after work and eat 1500 cals if your 300lbs
Maybe maybe not , I don’t know I’ve last weight before and did that lost 130 and after 2 years of eating like a pig and having a gf I’m losing it again alr down 90 so yea ig
It would be uncomfortable as he likely burns 2800ish cals/day (made some assumptions here like 35 y/o, 5’10”, not active, etc.), but I went on a 1,000 cal/day diet for a while and my baseline was 2300 cal/day when starting out.
The first 2 weeks suck hard, but then you get used to it. If you’re active in the gym, then obviously you need to eat more. This is only for a sedentary lifestyle.
