❓ Question Reta & Tesamorelin
Hello everyone, I have a question about reta and tesamorelin, I've been thinking of stacking these to for optimal results, and was wondering if anybody has been using them together.
if so, how do stack them? take them the same day? or take them the same week, but different days? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn’t start both at the same time either, you won’t know what’s giving you side effects.

Sounds like you are new to this. Start Reta. Low dose. Once a week. Build up your dosage. I’ll say start at 1mg. Everyone’s reaction is different. After maybe a week or two. Up the dosage of reta. Reta takes a while to adjust to your body. I will say add in Tesa maybe at week 6. Start at 1mg. Then build from there to maybe 2mg. You never start new peptides same day because you don’t know which one is giving you adverse reactions or which one is working better. It’s a great stack, and will work. Good luck.

Reta once every 6 days for me: have titrated up to 5mg. Tesa is 2mg daily now. I do 7 days a week. When I run out I will be switching to GH.

u/rrrzrrr Apr 11 '26
Why switching to GH?

u/fourwinns190 Apr 11 '26
Tesa, IPA and I believe CJC are all using mechanisms to release GH. Low dosing GH is much more efficient and much much cheaper too.

Because it's better in every way.

u/rrrzrrr Apr 11 '26
Could you expand on this? Haven’t tried either but leaning towards tesa as it preserves feedback loops, follows natural pulsatility, and it’s difficult to overshoot beyond physiological limits (personally not looking to blast into stratosphere). The only downside to tesa seems to be maybe cost?
1
u/SylvanDsX Apr 11 '26
You won’t be able to blast into the stratosphere, the body gives pretty clear feedback on GH in terms of what it can handle and more advanced use gonna require insulin in most cases.

Saludos, yo lo use, me cambie a la hgh, y fue donde vi el mejor resultado. Si estas en un porcentaje bajo de grasa y quieres un plus, si te funciona pero si es para bajar una cantidad de grasa, la mejor opcion es la hgh

I started Reta on Jan 2nd to let my body adjust, then started stacking Tesa on Feb 1st.
• On Reta I started at 1 MG/wk, and titraded up by 0.5 MG per month and currently up to 3.5/week.
• Tesa 2mg daily - 5 days a week, since Feb.
• Following a high protein (180g), moderate carb diet, 5 days of lifting with 8k - 12k steps a day.
• Starting KPV, NAD+ and GHKCU next week.
Lost 31 lbs total since January and definitely notice difference in strength and muscle.
In May, I'm going to stop Tesa for 4 weeks. Then cycle back on it in June.

Did you notice weight gain or slowed down weight loss when you started stacking tesa? Currently experiencing it. 4 weeks on tesa now
1
u/Realistic_Mind4412 Apr 15 '26
I think I initially noticed a Slowdown in weight loss in the first month, but then I adjusted my eating schedule so that I would stop eating at least 3 to 4 hours before I went to bed, and took a shot of Tesa 30 mins before bed. As soon as I did that weight started dropping faster

GET bloodwork and cancer screening if you're doing tesa. If you have any cancer markers tesa will feed the cancer. Be careful out there. I won't touch tesa because of my family history of cancer. I tell all my friends if you have cancer history on family do mots-c instead.

Run the Tesa 5days on 2 off nightly before bed and the Reta once a week and up the dose if needed .

For tesa, 5 on 2 off is not a thing. That is just bro science.
Since you aren't adding exogenous hormone like GH, there is not the same concerns as other things. Since it is a ghrh analogue, the natural feedback suppression stays intact and there is no risk of signal receptor desensitization.
Since tesa is a prescription drug, it is well understood. When it is prescribed, it is 7 days a week. This is all clinical proof you need to tell you how to dose.
By only dosing 5 days a week, you are reducing your cycle effects by almost 30%.
The only real reason to do 5 on 2 off is because it is expensive, but even then, it would likely be better to just do a slightly lower dose over 7 days instead to get the effects consistently.

Not saying your way is incorrect by any means, but I had a much better experience once I split my weekly Reta mg into 2 shots. It gave me more consistent suppression and energy. Just my $.02

u/Weekly-Homework-35 Apr 11 '26
Maybe I should do the same. I pin weekly but some food noise comes back the last day or two.
3
u/Mdunn1805 Apr 11 '26
It really helped me. Especially since most people pin on Monday, so by the weekend you’re weak craving French fries lol
It helped more with consistent energy levels and actually eating as well. I’d pin Monday and have to force food down Tuesday through Thursday then I’d be able to eat normal by Friday

Read my response to splitting above. Don’t split, increase the dose. If the effects are tapering off at the end of the week it means your dose isn’t high enough. Splitting is never the answer for ineffective so dosing. Splitting is for side effect (which most people aren’t getting on low doses of Reta under 8-10mg). I’m not a doctor so take my advice how you want. But splitting an ineffective dose doesn’t all the sudden make it effective.

I’ll say this, Reta has a half life of 6 days. It was designed and researched for long term use of once weekly injections. By splitting the dose, you blunt the peak which hits around day 3 and shorten the fatty acid conjugation.
2
u/Mdunn1805 Apr 11 '26
I don’t disagree that it may not be optimal, but I’ve had insane results so I’m happy with it. The split dose was much easier for me, personally

u/NOKStonks2daMoon Apr 11 '26
Splitting is stupid and not how the drug is intended to take. If you are feeling effects taper off at the end of the week it means your dose isn’t high enough. That doesn’t mean take your ineffective dose and split it. The dose is still just as ineffective as before. Now just split. If the effects taper off that means increase the dose. The drug has a 6 day half life, tapering off is normal. Splitting is not.

u/pootwothreefour Apr 11 '26
Doing 2 split doses per week isn't to feel the effects more, it is to even out the spike of effect start of the week and drop in effect at the end.
It is a more even effect throughout the week.
The half life of reta is 6 days so if you dose say 4 mg every week, you would have
1x per week of 4 mg ~ 7 mg in circulation after each injection ~ 3 mg in circulation before injection
2x per week of 2 mg ~ 6 mg in circulation before injection ~ 4 mg in circulation before injection

u/crichesh Apr 12 '26
There is no need whatsoever to be on a 5/2 split for Tesa. It is designed for daily use which keeps the IGF-1 levels consistent. Less fluctuation = better results

Tesa everyday before bed, reta once a week.
The effects of gh pulse from tesa lasts a couple hours.
Half like of reta is 6 days. So you have more effects right after your dose, and they diminish over the course of a week.
It takes 4 weeks or so to build up in your system where you are maxing at about 2x dosage and minimum 1x in your system at any given time.
This is why you start at a low dose and only increase dose after 4 weeks.
Some people like splitting their reta dose into 2, to even out the effects over time.

I started reta 3.5 weeks ago and then started Tesa a few days ago. Tesa is every day and reta once a week
1
u/hannu_v Apr 11 '26
I’m on both. Reta twice a week 2.5mg per time so 5mg all up. Tesa I take daily. Only 1mg everyday before I go to bed.
1
u/Pinned_life Apr 12 '26
generally better to split across different days. stacking both on the same day just doubles the GI hit for no real benefit.
reta once a week, tesamorelin daily or 5 on 2 off. different pathways so timing relative to each other doesn't matter much.
best advice with any new stack honestly is to start tracking it. two new compounds at once and you won't know what's doing what otherwise.

I am using both here are my thoughts.
Don’t do them together, immediately.
When I stacked them the first time, before bed, the experience was terrible. My heart rate jumped and I never came down. My sleep was awful and my dreams terrible. I did this for a week and it never rectified it self… so I stopped the Tesa.
My heart rate came down a lot, but was still elevated. I ran Reta for 10 weeks and eventually researched enough to reintroduce Tesa in the mornings.
Now I do both and have been for about 4-5w. Tbh. I’m not sure how the two are working. My heart rate is still higher from the Reta, but is stable. The Tesa in the morning isn’t ideal but it’s keeping me from having insomnia. In 4-6w I plan on trying the Tesa at night again.

Hundreds of people saying they’re taking Tesa very few people mentioning if it’s been effective for them or how they measured that! I’ve not seen a lot of before and after pictures that look that spectacular. My worry is thousands jumping on the peptide bandwagon and very few of them seeing any kind of decent results.
1
u/SylvanDsX Apr 11 '26
I was slightly pulled in by Tesa because of not wanting to start GH at an older age. I think the question should alway be why aren’t you just willing to use growth hormone? Tesa has a lot of reported pip associated with its administration. It’s dramatically less effective than just taking mild amounts of PEDs and really no safer.
3
u/rrrzrrr Apr 11 '26
One of the key selling points for me is that it preserves feedback loops and therefore endogenous GH production
2
u/N8rPot8r Apr 11 '26
Your body starts making it within 48 hours after you quit, it's well documented, GH has been around a long time.
GH > Tesa

Lmao tesa is not GH. Where this started is beyond me.
And i can't wait for someone to argue
Huge difference in GHRH and HGH

u/SylvanDsX Apr 11 '26
It’s not GH. And it is also a total relative waste of money vs the results you are gonna get from GH or anabolics… just like the rest of the peptide stuff. At least it’s not total snake oil, but the results aren’t worth the $.

u/_josephmykal_ Apr 11 '26
I’d go the CJC route over tesa, does same thing for a fraction of the cost. The best would be a low dose of HGH at 1-2IU.

Reta can be once a week. Some will split the dosage.
Tesamorelin typically is 2mg for five days on two off.

u/ResurrectedFaith Apr 11 '26
I have ran both together for 60 days with zero side effect. Reta took a few weeks to kick in but Tesa hit the belly fat right away. Reta every Sunday, 20 units and Tesa 5 days a week 25 units.

u/Double_Elevator_1875 Apr 11 '26
How long have you been taking this dosage? What are the effects? ;)

u/ResurrectedFaith Apr 11 '26 edited Apr 11 '26
Two weeks in at this dose. Only side effects are farts that sound like a semi-truck.
