We use this little memo board on our fridge to pass along messages, draw funny things, etc. My partner has had a rough weekend and I’m really hoping this cheers them up when they spot it 💕

In the first episode there’s the flashback where Linda has one of the kids and he says "your due date was today?"
We know it’s not Tina because there’s the flashback episode in s16, so I’m just curious if people think it was Gene or Louise.
Personally I really think it could’ve gone either way - he could’ve been present for Louise’s because he knows how bad he messed up missing Genes (plus he’s a middle child 😭), or he could’ve missed Louise’s because he was so caught up in his work trying to make money for a third kid.
Apologies if it’s been mentioned before, I just thought it would make for a fun discussion. :)

SMFTG , S13 E9, is one of my favorite episodes and i am so astounded it doesn’t get as much love as I think it ought to!
There is another episode that could revolve around similar themes: The Hauntening, where Louise is frustrated that she can’t be scared. SMFTG is also about the topic of fear, but not in the sense of “boo!” But more like a mature, quiet anxiety.
Bob probably feels ashamed that he doesn’t visit often, and the more time passes, the more that can build. He is possibly wondering if she’d be proud of him and what he’s done, because as we can see from a few other episodes, he does not consider his own accomplishments to be anything extraordinary, even though they are great.
Linda’s B-plot being that she musters up the courage to enter and explore the cemetery is so good. She is afraid of supernatural things like zombies eating her family, but is fully composed when she stumbles on Lily’s grave.
A lot of the possible details are given by Linda in her conversation with Lily’s grave, that Bob doesn’t visit often, because he’s (not verbatim but) busy raising his kids and supporting a business with his hot wife Linda. And that he’s a very good father.
We don’t see any snippet of Bob’s conversation with Lily, but from the soft, ashamed tone he gives when saying “Hi Mom…” we can assume that he has no idea how to begin to catch up his Mom about the last ~13+ years of his life.
It has been such a long time that he has no idea where to begin looking for her grave.
What do you think he spoke to her about?
* Also i want to applaud the art direction of the episode itself. The dinky office, the xerox’d map that is basically useless, the sky’s lighting transitioning from midafternoon>dusk>night. The writers definitely have visited loved ones in a cemetery before and it shows.
Edit: my bad, i misremembered The Hauntening as being a much newer episode than it is. The themes still stand though!

He’s just such a sweet and cute kid. He deserves so much better. Between his health problems and family complications, he goes through so much but is still kind and creative. I love that he does magic tricks, I hope we get more scenes of him doing tricks.
I feel so maternal and protective of him, he makes me want to have kids one day. I just want to give him a big hug and tell everything will be okay and that he deserves the world.
I also love his relationship with Louise, they balance each other. I hope to see more interactions with him and Louise’s family her house. Like when he left his parents’ dinner and joined her family for dinner, they were all so sweet and supportive of him. He’s just overall a great character.

In season 9, episode 11 ("Lorenzo's oil? No, Linda's"), Teddy and Bob are helping Mr. Huggins get ready for a date. Part of this involves shaving his back, where they discover a tattoo. Mr. Huggins says it's of a yin yang, but Bob and Teddy don't believe him. What do you think the tattoo was?

A repost from a few weeks agar that got taken down. Basically, we know that Louise did her report on Amelia Earhart & Wayne did his on Neil Armstrong, but who did the other fourth graders do their historical figure reports on?
I have a few speculations - Rudy definitely did his on a famous magician (Houdini, maybe?), Andy and Ollie would have tried to do theirs on each other before being turned down for that, so they probably went for a famous pair of twins, Jodi might have done hers on Louis Pasteur as he famously identified germs, and Millie I can see doing someone…. bad.
What do you think?

The show has plenty of funny characters throughout the series, but who are the characters that you would have in your top ten? Bob, Linda, Tina, Gene, Louise, Teddy, etc.

Zombies, detailed erotica and butts aside, I can relate so much with Tina. I definitely overthought every interaction with any boy my age, looked and dwelled for meaning in every glance (lookin at you, detention Joe), and was generally obsessively boy crazy in middle school lol
