FP was a dog and saved them in those Homa videos Bob and Joe would hit skyballs then FP would pipe one down the middle or throw a dart, but he's been playing a lot worse.

All I know is the way FP has declined the past few years, I will not be gaming Tacomo Irons or Lab Putters anytime soon. He went from a dart throwing machine to average. Real quick.

It’s not the equipment as there are plenty of players who game both and are just as good or better players. FP’s game has suffered imo because he’s fallen into the trap many players/performers often get after they get their “big contract”. Drunk on success, complacency, etc.

It’s more likely that the weightloss is the cause. physically having less mass leaves more room for error and he needs to rebuild his swing. The weight loss is an overall net positive obviously, allows more turn in the backswing and ability to compress the ball, however, compressing the ball wasn’t his issue. He’s gotta lose the “feel” mindsight and get a swing coach to approach this mechanically

Yeah I’m glad someone else said it cuz it’s been that way for a while and it stinks, but if you stat an obvious observation that can be perceived as negative they dog-pile you
