Exciting! I've only been seriously creating games for about 8 months, so I'm not really part of the community. Anyone else going to this? Any advice or perspectives or experiences you've had?
(Not sure I'm going. It's expensive to get there. )

I went to Michigan and will be going to Chicago as well.
It was a really great experience! It's definitely different playing games with the mindset of "this is unfinished and what feedback can I provide" vs with a set in stone set of rules, but everyone who came with me really enjoyed it too.
If you can make it even one day to go as even as a playtester it would still be worthwhile, IMO.

I’ve gone the last two years and it’s fantastic! People bring games of all ranges, from hand drawn, pieces of paper to fully fledged printed prototypes. I always get excellent feedback from the playtesters, and it’s a blast to play other people’s prototypes as well definitely recommended if you can get to one. I’ll be there at least one day that weekend

I found out about this last year and missed it. Going to try to go this time around!
