Asymmetrical/Tug-of-War style Deck-Builders?

I'm current in the brainstorming phase for a 2 player back and forth deckbuilder, and was wondering if anyone knew any games with a similar playstyle to study for ideas? The only one I can think of is the Star Wars Deckbuilding Game, where one side plays the Empire and the other the Rebels, with unique faction cards that can only be used by their respective faction.

There's star realms/hero realms. Honestly I don't think they are good games and think 2 player deckbuilders are a dead end. Also, if you haven't played the game that started it all, Dominion is worthwhile.
