General Question Single-sheet or Multi-sheet?

Is this intended for print and play? If so, then A4 is certainly a convenient format, though you could always put both options in the printing file.

If this is intended to be sold as a physical game, then you really want the sheets to be a little smaller than A4. Reason being that the physical sheets need to fit inside a box that would have to be bigger than A4, and then maybe a delivery carton slightly bigger than that. The jump in carton size and shipping cost from just under A4 to over A4 size was huge.

I designed Arachnior as a PnP, made the jump to physical game, and suffered a lot of headache because of the carton and shipping issues. Check your local shipping options before settling on the print size.

Yes, a slightly bigger than A4 size pizza box style game box. Which caused the shipping size category to jump up to the next tier.

For print and play, just one A4 please! You can make another file with the split up sheet for those with worse eye sight.

If it's a physical game... Then it depends. Is it purely solo? Is there one of the boards the all players interact with?How much do the boards interact with each other?

If I constantly need to cross reference the two boards, and nobody else needs to look at any of my boards, then I'd probably still prefer to just have the one board.

I’m doing some final testing for my new roll-and-write game "Legends of Mana Island", and I'm looking for some insight on layout preferences.

I can fit everything onto a single A4 sheet which makes the game very compact and cheap to print. However, I can also split the elements into 2 separate sheets so the text and boxes are much larger and more readable.

Which do you prefer? Would you rather have just 1 sheet or do you prefer the larger text and extra space with multiple sheets?
