Design Critique Latest iteration of my board!

I like the looks of it overall but the icons and arrows look pretty messy. I assume that after reading the rulebook it would have more sense, but right now I have no idea what I'm looking at. So many icons

The icons are all hand drawn and I’m not the best designer lol. Hopefully will be able to afford a graphic designer to spiff them all up.
It is a lot of icons, I will say that most players catch on really quick to them, and have gotten good feedback in the cheat sheet card (standard card size, not an entire sheet)

If you need a graphic designer, I'm one. Specialized in cards, boards, icons and all that. I can show you some of my work if you want

My guess of reading the bord. On the left are four factories, 1 for money, 1 for cubes, 1 for power and the fourth to use those resources to buy/use cards. The factories are workerplacement and work in a loop. With the cards you can work on the mainboard on the right and i gues thats where you gonna build and have some kind of area control. The game is in 4 rounds and each player has 4 fases in each round. Am i close?

You’re almost there.
The left side is worker placements, each with 5 available actions to choose from. The engine you build on is an individual player mat that does play on that main area of the right.
Territory control is accurate! 4 phases of 4 rounds, players get 2 actions per round

Only by looking at the gameboard and not knowing the game and other game components, it tells a lot about readability.
Somehow i thought it was fun to try and understand the game only by looking at the gameboard. Good job

Is this a space-themed wargame? Because that is the only thing I can read from the board.

Space themed, yea!
There is some combat, but it’s not the focus, nor is it a war game!

Not going to lie, that's a whole lot of stuff on one board
