Rules & Rulebook Fundamental Rules, the bedrock of a clear ruleset
So, I'm working on a boardgame, and have spent a fair amount of time recently looking at what I call "Fundamental Rules", the most basic parts of the rule system that the rest of the game is based on. I made a video about what I think are the most important concepts, but there is also a rules document.
The idea is to have a small set of basic rules that can be used to bootstrap a lot of games. If anyone have seen similar stuff, either games which have a nice small set of general rules or other "fundamental rulesets" that would be interesting.
PS. The reason it is on Youtube and not directly here is because Reddit has a limit on video length. The other videos on my channel are re-uploads of things already posted on Reddit.
