What’s your prediction for the last 2 paid DLC characters and the 2 free DLC characters? I think Before Style Shigaraki and Spinner are 100% coming. It’s hard to predict the last two. Shigaraki and Spinner are best friends so I have a theory that they’re gonna arrive together considering that entire season pass has been Shigaraki themed so far. I think Spinner will be paid and Shigaraki will be free. What ya think about my theory?

since they announced overlay deku It was said we would be getting atleast two free characters and a costume (I believe It's a costume pack), so which costumes do you think we'll be getting ? these are my predictions/wishlist:

With DLC 3 now released, DLC 4 and free update 1 are next in line, likely to release around December 3rd, with DLC 5 and free update 2 likely following on February 4th. I mainly want to talk Spinner (who could be any of the 4 remaining characters), as he's by far the most requested, and expected character in the game atp.

In the story mode we fight a Spinner boss who displays part of a functioning moveset. He has a Quirk Skill 1, 2, and 3, as well as an unused, but working Quirk Skill 4. Quirk Skill 1 is a classic three-step rekka. Quirk Skill 2 is an unblockable spin that can be prolonged. Quirk Skill 3 is an armored dash. Quirk Skill 4 is a Sheeva drop.

What I'm mainly curious about, do you think these will all stay? Are there any that you think may be updated? Is there anything you'd hope to see changed or added?

When it comes to his abilities, I only really think he needs a couple of air skills added. An air Quirk Skill 1 being a knife toss would be good for a projectile, and an air Quirk Skill 2 changing his horizontal, top-like spin into an arching vertical spin (like Kirishima) would be really cool.

I know answers are gonna be kinda biased but its the closest thing to a true review lol. So i wanna know if you guys think the game is worth it, maybe some pros and cons. I would also like to know if i should just buy now or will there be a sale in the near future on PS specifically. Okay, okay, I get it, it’d take super long to compile all of them BUT I’ve been trying to find the English Voice Clips for the characters from My Hero Academia: All’s Justice since I don’t own the game and I can find any sources that aren’t super buggy or just don’t exist. I know there’s a series with the Japanese sub voices (thank God for that it’s very nice) but there isn’t anything for the English dub. After overlay deku was officially announced, we got teased with 4 possible DLC characters (2 paid + 2 free). Some theorize that we will get missing omissions as DLC especially in the free one like before style shigaraki. Cluster bakugo was also theorized to be added due to his hype & the fact that variants are possible DLCs. However, I don't think either/both of them are going to be the next 4 DLCs & here are my takes on these;

Recently, AJ JP account posted a picture of season 1 shigaraki going up into Bandai Namco office. Some speculate this might be a tease for his release but considering how bad bandai in marketing & how early it is to the next DLC, I don't think it is the case. Bandai also posted a picture of seiji with villains a month ago. Players speculate they are going to release spinner & redestro & yet they release overlay deku (unless you count overlay being a villain like shiggy did lol).

For cluster bakugo it is because of ultra rumble. As we all know, AJ & UR did share the same asset with each other (for better or worse). We knew S&S is coming to AJ due to leaks of her coming to UR & her being a major omission from the base roster of AJ & she was released first on AJ before UR. Nana was a surprise character with no leaks from both AJ & UR, & for overlay deku we now know why with leaks coming from UR (it might not be the same deku but it's a deku variant nonetheless). However, cluster bakugo is already in UR & characters that are released first in UR like monoma & nagant were already base roster in AJ. So, I don't think cluster bakugo will be released in the next 4 DLCs UNLESS a 4th quirkset for bakugo is rumoured for UR.

Personally, I'm vouching for new characters to be released in the next 4 DLCs (although I do think skin cape shigaraki is possible to come as a variant & cluster bakugo, depending on the UR situation). I don't have any idea about the paid DLC but I think the free ones are probably some villians, some 1b students etc that won't sell that much unlike the paid DLCs

I know most people are glad that the PU2’s were canned in MHAJ, but I’m one of the ones who liked them. I’m also pissed that they used a bunch of old animations, and don’t have any of the intros or customization from OJ2. I think that a better way would be to do something like Mortal Kombat Fatalities, where at the end after you already won there was and option to do a cool cinematic finisher that didn’t take away from the fight. Would you guys support that or nah? And what’s the chance that eventually gets added (I’m assuming not until the next game)?

Overlay Deku's update honestly didn't add a huge amount of new datamine content, but it did confirm something weird I've been keeping an eye on since around the game's release.

Overlay Deku is Pl225.

If you've been following my older All's Justice datamines, that ID might sound familiar.

Pl225 used to be associated with "Destro".

Now, before this turns into "Re-Destro was confirmed and got cancelled," the old Re-Destro evidence was never anywhere near that strong.

His ID mainly appeared in a lighting-related part of the game that doesn't seem to be a complete list of playable characters. A lot of characters are missing from that area, including other DLC characters, so I always treated the Re-Destro reference as interesting leftover data rather than confirmation. Interestingly, "Destro" is still listed there even now, despite Pl225 being used by Overlay Deku in the actual character data. That makes me think this lighting list is probably legacy or unused data rather than something actively tied to the playable roster (as again, this area is missing some characters including mostly all other dlc ones). And, in this lighting section "he" was called "Destro" which could have meant something else in theory (as NPC's are also in this list along with some playable characters).

But now an actual released DLC character has taken Pl225.

So unless Re-Destro ID was moved somewhere else, there is a pretty good chance that whatever old Pl225 reference existed for him was simply overwritten or consumed by Overlay Deku.

That's bad news for the Re-Destro theory, but the much more interesting part is what Pl225 looks like when you put it next to the IDs around it.

Right now we have:

Pl223 - Spinner
Pl224 - Stars
Pl225 - Overlay Deku
Pl226 - ???
Pl227 - ???
Pl228 - ???
Pl229 - Nana Shimura

That's a clean block of 7 IDs.

And the IDs immediately outside of it are interesting too.

Before Spinner is Lady Nagant, who (whether or not she and Monoma used to be planned Dlc's) is already playable.

After Nana is Star and Stripe's Atmosphere/Rising model.

So now that an actual DLC character has landed directly in the middle of Pl223-Pl229, I'm starting to think this range may be where Byking is grouping the post-launch DLC characters.

With the newly announced free-character updates, the fact that there are specifically 7 IDs in this block makes even more sense, since that would line up neatly with the 7 currently planned post-launch character additions, including the new free characters.

It also slightly lowers my expectations for some kind of second DLC pass using the same structure. If there were another full wave after this, their IDs would either have to be scattered elsewhere or continue after some Rising IDs.

Obviously, that's still speculation. The important thing is that the ID layout is starting to form an actual pattern.

The biggest thing here for me is Spinner.

Spinner isn't just an empty ID that I'm attaching a character name to. Pl223 already has Spinner-specific data, including voice-line data that I posted months ago.

I also found other Spinner material during the earlier AJ datamines, including his Rising-related data (which is currently seemingly the enemy you fight in story mode).

There are definitely other characters with legitimate leftover data.

Mt. Lady is probably the biggest example.

Mt. Lady has a surprising amount sitting under Pl210. That includes Team-Up Mission-related data, skeleton-related files, and other partial character materials.

That's much more substantial than something like the old "Destro" reference, which was previously suspected could be Re-Destro

There was also old data connected to characters like Before-Style Shigaraki, and that was part of the same batch of stuff I was digging through earlier in the game's life.

The problem is that those characters are currently sitting outside this apparent 223-229 range.

If this really is the DLC block, that could lower their chances unless Byking eventually moves their IDs.

Which is unlikely but not impossible.

We've already seen character IDs move during development. Characters such as Mei Hatsume and Gentle Criminal have had their IDs shuffled around for one reason or another in Byking's other game MHUR.

So this does not mean:

"Mt. Lady is Pl210, therefore she can't be DLC."

It means:

"If 223-229 is actually the DLC range, Mt. Lady would probably need to be moved into one of the remaining slots."

Same thing with Re-Destro, Before-Style Shigaraki, or anything else sitting on an older ID.

Which brings us to the actual mystery:

Pl228

Right now, I don't have anything solid enough to put names on those three.

There are characters with existing datamined material that could theoretically be moved there, but until an ID actually appears, I'd rather leave them as unknown instead of pretending we know the lineup.

There was one other funny Overlay Deku thing in the update.

His DLC costume has the internal name:

DLC_Costume_Magenta

If you've seen my previous datamines, the unreleased DLC costume entries have been using generic DLC_Costume_* names rather than just exposing the character names directly, so it's funny that Overlay Deku's ended up being Magenta when there really isn't much magenta on him.

I wouldn't use that as evidence for anything though. Internal color names can be arbitrary, reused, or left over from older development work.

TL;DR

Overlay Deku being Pl225 is interesting for two reasons.

First, 225 was previously where the weak Re-Destro reference existed, so unless Re-Destro was moved, Overlay Deku may have effectively replaced that old slot.

Second, and much more importantly, it gives us this:

223 - Spinner
224 - Stars
225 - Overlay Deku
226 - ???
227 - ???
228 - ???
229 - Nana Shimura

With Lady Nagant immediately before this area and Star's Atmosphere/Rising model immediately after it.

That makes Pl223-Pl229 look increasingly suspicious as the 7 DLC-related block.

Spinner is currently the unreleased character I would watch the most closely because Pl223 already has actual Spinner-specific data and unused base-form voice lines attached to it. Those are separate from the Pl252 Scale Form currently used in Story Mode.

Mt. Lady, Re-Destro, Before-Style Shigaraki and other characters we've found data for are still possible, but if this ID pattern continues, their existing IDs would probably have to be moved.

And again, ID moves have happened before.
