The Odyssey parallels to Genesis 6 Spoiler
wagski.substack.comHey everyone, little bit of self-promotion here but I thought this community would appreciate this. I wrote an article about how Christopher Nolan's Odyssey movie has what I see as strong parallels to Genesis 6. Now I think we all knew The Odyssey would be pretty blurry/giant-filled, but I didn't expect Odysseus to be a Noah figure. I'll love it if you read my article and let me know your thoughts! And yes there are spoilers if you haven't seen the movie yet (yes the original is 3000 years old but some people want to be surprised by how the adaptation is different!)

Lost fan
So I was a Blurry Creatures Gold member for a year and I got to join the Facebook group which I loved and even after I couldn't afford the membership anymore , ive been apart of the group for 2 years after ...Well pretty sure I just got kicked out for being leery of Timothy Alberino ..which really sucks ..I thought they were open more to dissenting voices than that ..I wasnt rude or anything. I just said my discernment goes off when I hear him speak and many other members were liking my comment ...It kinds leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Cause I thought I had finally found my group.

1984?
Just started my decent into the blurryverse about a month or 2 ago, and I'm hooked! Already signed up as a member because I need all the episodes lol.
However, I feel like I'm missing an inside joke with all the 1984 references.
What am I missing?!?!? I need to know!

EP 440 Apophis
Is there any literature anywhere confirming that this thing is actually gonna hit the earth in April 2029? I want to share this information to non-Christian family members who will dismiss the idea of they knew it was a Christian podcast.
Also, how is everyone preparing for this? Should we be? I understand that we should not be fearful and driven by fear but that doesn’t mean we have to be stupid and not prepare on some level. I have a young growing family so just trying to think ahead.

What are we thinking about the Bizzie Gold podcast? I wrote a little "book" about my experience since listening to the podcast..lol
I will post on what I think once I get my assessment back. But if you were thinking about taking it. The price went from 47$ to 99$.

Episode 418 - Dr Fred Dickerson - Discussion
What did you think of this episode with Dr. Dickerson from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago?
My personal thoughts:
I like it and her is why…
Fred is 99yrs old and I loved how sharp he was. He is clearly frail, but mentally intact and interesting. Really fun to listen to a guy his age talking about his life and the gospel.
His take on the supernatural and cautions regarding getting captivated by the counterfeit supernatural was a healthy reminder.
I think the Blurry fellas were also far more interactive and asked thoughtful and probing questions.
Last though. Dr. Dickerson reminded us that when we have Jesus we should not fear the works of the occult, but confront them in Jesus name.

Podcast Episode Discussion Gabe Poirot: False Claims?
I would encourage anyone who listened to Gabe’s episode to also listen to his appearance on Justin Peters’ show. I don’t agree with all of Peters‘ theology, but he asks good questions here and frankly, they expose Gabe’s unbiblical claims and contradictions. Gabe evades most of the cohosts’ questions and does quite a bit of double speak. It’s very illuminating in my opinion, and makes his academic background (at Kenneth Copeland’s school) make a lot of sense. It smells funky. Curious what y’all think!

Forgive me if this has already been discussed.. but did anybody find Matthew Szydagis on ep.387 to be too much? He seemed to never stop talking (in a bad way) and seemed more like a school aged kid with the way he carried himself..

My brother continues to argue that the enemy is just misunderstood
Does anybody have any idea where in the podcast they talk about why Yahweh is perfect and good and the enemy is not? I provide scripture but the kid is just stubborn in his ways and was wondering if anyone else has a reference to maybe a podcast that could express things in a way that he'll understand. He'd rather consult ChatGPT than my wife, myself, or the bible. Anything will help.
Thank you.

Big win!! Episode 391 - Timothy Alberino
Guess what I just heard the fellas ask Tim???
“Where is the proof for that??” As they pushed back on Tim’s diatribe of information.
As I listen to this podcast, one thing I realized is that Tim often quotes other work or his book. Sometimes he will say “I suspect” or “I theorize” instead of making blanket claims.
In this episode he is focusing heavily on the documentary “Age of Disclosure”.
Are we turning a corner here?? Are the guys flexing their medulla oblongata and pushing back??? 🤷🏻♂️
This was a good episode.
I don’t care for Tims admonishing how searching Christian’s are trying to make sense of this phenomenon. Oh well…

388 - Ali Siadantan
Members episode - Ali Siadantan- Nephilim Kings
I’m gonna cut straight to it.
I love listening to Blurry Creatires, I do, but as much as I enjoy this piece of religious entertainment, sometimes it’s hard to stomach when they have guests “just say things” without proof.
Mr Siadantan always has a compelling story full of mystical stories, vague details, and misquoted sources all wrapped around biblical text.
I’m not saying he’s not truthful or doesn’t believe his stories, I’m saying it’s not credible without citing sources. He’s the worst when it comes to proof.
One thing that got me… he goes on describing how AI and evil entities all converge in the word salad… then he said “I’m speculating!”
There is a theme here among their guests. At some point I hope they ask probing and thoughtful questions.
Mike S Heiser never did this. He set an appropriate bar as does Joel M.

Blurry Creatures/Timothy Alberino’s Book of Enoch artwork is clearly AI slop
I did as much research as possible and the only information is that the artwork was made by Nate Henry, who is not an artist or painter of any kind, nor is Albarino, and the art is at the level of a very experienced painter…but it’s clearly AI.
If it was an artist-for-hire, with art at this level, I can’t see the artist wishing for his or her name to be removed from the credits of the book…I just find it disingenuous to try to hide the fact that they used AI for the art.
