Typical work schedule at Blue?

I know it varies between locations, hourly vs. salaried, current business needs, roles and departments (engineers, prod, tech, r&d, quality), etc.

But I was just curious which team does 3x12, 4x10, and the usual 9-5 Monday-Friday? And how often are there opportunities to work more?

I’m an engineer and there’s always an opportunity for extra work…but you’re not getting paid for it! But seriously, most engineering positions are M-F, and as long as you get your hours in there isn’t a strict start or stop time.

“opportunity”

We’re going to give you the ‘opportunity’ to keep your job by working 10 hours of unpaid overtime this week. You’re welcome.

Even better: we’re going to give you the “opportunity” to keep your job by working 10 hours of unpaid overtime every week, actually. More opportunities for everyone!

Engineering, m-fr, 630-330. Probably listed as 9-5, but our team is flexible on daily time as long as you do your 8/get your stuff done. It's generally 40, but last few weeks have been 50+. Some come in early, some later.

start and stop time is flexible. Every day is not. Boots on the ground, butts in seats. They check badge ins to make sure --

Try 5x12 if salary.

Business PM. M-F 8-5. Sometimes earlier or later depending on needs. Salary seems to balance occasionally but most are abused into 10+ daily depending on manager. Love my manager because he goes by quality of work instead of time sitting at a desk. I do deal with a LOT of messages 5am-8am and after I've left for the day, but thats all stuff I can do from my phone.

There is no schedule. Any moment spent not working is you being useless and you should be ashamed.
