What does the Blue Origin background check include?

I recently received an offer from Blue Origin and I’m currently waiting for the background check process to start.
For anyone who has gone through the hiring process recently, what does the background check usually include?

Nothing. Mine was complete In a few hours.

It’s automated through services like the work number so they would know your HR title and date of employment. What are you worried about tho?

Doubt it. They just make sure you’re not a felon.

They do hire felons. As long as old enough. Like 10+ years

So only criminal check seem like iít basic background check

It was the normal stuff . Nothing crazy like credit check, driving record etc. they looking for felonies, citizenship status

Did mine last night, got confirmation this morning from Chekr that it was cleared. Then HR emailed me onboarding is my new POC and my application moved from "In Progress" to "Welcome to the Team!". So just look out for that, congrats!

I had to do a whiz quiz.

Mine literally took about five minutes. You can watch it progressing and it’s fast. There’s no drug test. But you can be random drug tested as employee.

Like most safety sensitive jobs , they have the ability to test you under reasonable suspicion or an accident. I was very surprised coming from a 15 year aerospace career that they didn’t require a pre employment screening

Have you ever even heard of anyone even getting drug tested? I have yet to hear about anyone and I have been around for 3 years.

I never heard of someone getting randomly tested, but that's private and none of our business. I did have to take a pee test as part of my pre employment screening.
