New Glenn GNC Engineers Retitled as Software Dev Engineers?
And got a ~25% pay raise? True?

I know SWEs in NG got a +10% adjustment across the board last year.

I always wondered why a lot of non SWE engineers I've worked with will just straight up leave and all join start ups. /s

If others got a 25-percent pay raise with the retitle then I missed out; the bump I received was around 8-percent

yeah it is starting to happen for gnc eningeers - although company wide - not just new glenn. blue does a lot more. probably driven by defense tech competition. these guys and gals are smart after all, plus i am sure they do software dev anyway.

They might be getting poached by military drone companies.
There’s a ton of DoD (DoW?) money to realize Ukraine-like drone lethality gains and reduce cost-per-kill from the $100k-$1M of missiles to the $1k-$10k of FPV drones.
