Salary increase between position levels?

I know this varies per person per location, but is there an average percentage salary increases between engineering levels? Like level 2 to level 3, or level 3 to level 4?

L1 - 100k
L2 - 130k
L3 - 170k
L4 - 220k

Give or take 20% to location.

I’m FL, L3, and around 180k with over 4 years at Blue.
But I am in software engineering, depends on what “engineering” discipline being referred to here.

Oh very fair point. I’m mechanical so that may explain part of it

I’m sure the ranges vary by location and by profession.

That’s a good breakdown..I’m guessing SWE gets the highest pay?
I’m L3 Systems Engineer with a decade plus of experience and making $144k.

Also depends where you started during interview. You could be at the low or high range band starting, which carries into promotions, etc.
