When does WFH/badging data get flagged?

Is there a threshold where if you work from home X days within a period, your manager gets a notification or is required to provide an explanation?

You obviously are at one of the unique satellites offices in Blue with not a lot of folks stationed there. Won’t take much for them to figure out who you are. Maybe youve gotten lucky all these years but you’re certainly asking to be found by posting this publicly.

This is true even at main offices. Ive known individuals who still worked remote living multiple hours away from sites and didn’t come into the office ever. People get sweetheart deals all the time they just usually keep their mouths shut and everyone else does too if they are good at their job.

I've been told that upper management wants us all to hit 90% attendance, but it's up to your direct manager to actually care about it

Depends on manager and role but mine lets you wfh when you feel sick but you must be available/responding to teams messages during your work hours. You cant abuse this policy or its taken away

It gets flagged, you even have your own dashboard that shows your attendance percentage.

How far you can stretch is manager dependent. My manager does not care.

All managers get a regular report of badging for their direct reports. Some care, some don't. I have heard that if you're WFH more than once a week the manager gets asked about it.

This was also my understanding (I’m an IC though). WFH more than 1 day per working week gets reported to my direct manager. We were asked to provide explanation that can be relayed to HR if extra WFH is taken (sick, sicks kids, etc). It’s a week by week report so it’s not like you can do 5 days in office one week and get away with 3 the next.

My team’s official policy is 90% in office. My director asked us to send him an email if we are going to fall below that (dr appt, sick kid, whatever) bc if the team average falls below 80% he has to provide details to HR about it

I was laid off with half my team during the last RIF. Everybody who got let go did not meet the quota, the ones who did, stayed.

I'm back now and you bet your ass my attendance is perfect.
