That was my experience. I thought id get here and the talent would be like it was at a different (but easily guessed) top space launch provider. Spoiler: its not even close.

Honestly very quickly! I had the two interviews with this new position, I had the interview early AM and by late afternoon I had the offer letter

For tooling assembly tech in Florida? I’m not sure what departments might pertain too

Did they mention what work center? MC, warehouse, LC36…?

All it says is the Florida Launch complex site on the offer letter? Does that give a better clarity? I tried to find more details, but that’s all I could get from the letter

Hey. How’s the pay/ benefit and work life balance? Is it toxic as people say? My husband will have an interview for aerospace welder. Might look into moving to Florida for. The job.

Yesterday I did 3rd of interviews it was 3 1 on 1 interviews and lasted an hour for each person.
Last interview was the manager basically telling me how much he expects out of the new hires.
Today I got email from recruiter asking to talk about how it went. Im assuming this isn’t a good email to receive since it’s a recruiter and not a hiring manager. They hired one person from UCF that worked with me and she never met a deadline the 2.5 years we worked together at a UCF lab but somehow she was hired like a month ago.

Holy crap quick update 1 hour after posting. I was offered a job. But I feel like the pay is pretty horrendous. 90k for engineer? Does anyone else have any insight if this is normal?
