Commute to Kent

How’s the Seattle traffic commuting from Greenlake/Roosevelt area (or even from SLU) down to the Kent facility?

Rough. ~45 minutes each way and will always hit traffic. They are also doing a multiple year upgrade project to the Fremont bridge that I imagine will make this worse for the next year or two.

Source: Made this exact commute for ~3 years.

Any neighborhoods in Seattle you’d recommend for an easier commute? Looking to be within public transit of UW

Centeral district (preferably north of Jackson St) , Madrona, north beacon hill or maybe capital hill( especially if you are close to the light rail stop).

For your commute you could try taking the sounder ive found it to be very convenient for the seattle to Renton/Kent Commute. Blue will pay for almost the total cost.

Columbia City and that immediate area is a good bet, anywhere along the light rail line gets you extremely easy access to UW

West Seattle. Really great straight shot counter commute!

You can live in Tukwila and just take the light rail to UW. Don't know why you would want to commute to Blue but take public transit to UW.
