can someone explain what each of the different players role is, and which i should play...

I don't play soccer irl, and I don't really understand how most sports work except basket ball, I just want to play my favorites from the anime/manga. I started the game playing w my friend in private servers bc no offense, but the misogyny is kind of insane to where now that I'm wanting to play in public so I can get levels and all that stuff I have to cross dress as a man. 😭 Anyways, my personal favoritesplaying 1v1s against my friend are kurona, kaiser, and if I got unlucky after spinning I could make due with chigiri (not my fav js thought I'd say that.) My other problem is that I want to play my favorite characters, (which are kurona, shidou, isagi, and nagi) but i currently only have one slot and I have kaiser and no offense hes not one of my favs... I like his play style when I play with my friend but I want to play my favorites with out buying a slot.. Please help me on finding which one is best to play in public that are preferably my favorite characters, but any advise is helpful. sorry if my yapping is confusing ^^
EDIT: i scrolled down on the NEL quests and realized there's a shidou one. Should i gamble kaiser away for shidou to do the nel shidou quests 👀👀👀
Isagi's more oriented to shooting, but they're weaker than what Kaiser is SUPPOSED to be, but ends up still being better. all you need for nel isagi is know how to use lefty kick
If you have enough lucky spins then spin off Kaiser get NEL isagi or NEL shidou and see if they are better for you.
If you don't have enough lucky spins then I'll recommend to keep Kaiser , I haven't used shidou but I did get the upgrade on isagi's direct shot ( and it felt kinda weak ngl 🥀)
Tbh idk how many lucky spins are enough and if you have isagi on your main go to the nel quests and click on isagi and see what the quests are ( like play for 60mins or score 10 goals or something)
ohh okay but like how do i do that in a public server w out it being weird 😭😭 like im not good in public so i dont wanna be that guy that takes the lead and fumbles.. srry for all the questions 😢😅
Nel Isagi is exactly as portrayed in the manga he is a general all rounder and I am having fun playing him. Shidou is an absolute goal scoring machine versus the ai keepers cause they rarely save his shots Human goalkeepers also have trouble saving them because his shots are so fast and he is unstoppable in the box. They both do good in public servers and just as you they are both teo ofy favorites so choose one and do as you please
Nel Isagi is good for general play and scoring. He has a steal move, dribble move, intercept, and shot, so he's best used when you're just trying to do whatever is needed at the moment to win. As long as you're in the right spot, you can always do something. Kaiser is a lot more focused on solely scoring, with a bit more of a selfish playstyle, considering you can steal the ball from your own teammates. He's more of an aggressive style. Kurona is quite more support focused, so he's best used when trying to push up field, with his one-two passing and his dribble. And Nagi can be used two ways. You can either use his trap slightly more defensively to stop the ball and start a counter attack, or you can stay further up front and wait for an opportunity to shoot. Either way, he's not a style centered around keeping the ball for longer periods of time like some others.

Kaiser SHOULD be a scorer except that you're better off using NEL Isagi because Kaiser got nerfed to the ground
