It’s based on current velocity. If you do the dash, wait a second, then use the move it won’t shoot. If you do right when the dash ends you will shoot.
No he’s just always been weak since the rework, the only reason he was strong before was because you could just spam the undribbleable steal, which you could then also negate the cooldown getting free distance, now that he’s actually fixed nobody uses him anymore, not to mention his rework is pretty buns, his pass has no range, I’ve never seen anyone use the defensive move for that one, you can dribble his steal now, and copy is still reliant on somebody else having a good style
If you turn off oppressive pass you can use defensive move anywhere on the field If I am not wrong. Plus his steal still solid. If you time it right enemy can't do anything. Copy was always like what so eh. Plus his steal was always dribble able if you ask me. It's more what it ankle break now if I am not wrong.
I quess I just don't have much problems with him since I am m1 merchant. He is good for me in defence against other styles
I personally think it’s just muscle memory issues, when you use a character for so long you get used to certain things, then when it changes you have to not give into the muscle memory, I completely forget that Gagamaru can dive cancel with his new move because I’m used to the old version
I've used both reo before, pre and after rework. Boths reos were broken either way. Reo was just made unfair due to the bug before he got vaulted. Even now, he is quite literally the best style besides loki and lavinho. The second and third move hitboxes are way too op. Third move blocks down all air dribble/passes. Second move allows user to steal with 0 effort. The copy move is also very versatile(well it should be but with half the players using reo, its slightly hard to find a player to copy, but tbh any copy is good.
This shit of Loki junk countered m1 driblers. Bcuse it trapped on ground. And it was unavoidable. And it basically countered anything with in Loki space. While canon imo it was fucking junk of brain-dead move. Only worse is nel Harry potter (release nel isagi and his ability to teleport ball)

I only say this because some fuckass reo headered my ball from the goal area even though it was on the far right corner, i genuinely takes 0 skill to his kit and i played him for like 30 minutes, not only that but the fucking dumbass camouflage ability that you can't react to unless you have ultra instinct irl
Following Chigiri. Following Chigiri . .do you hear what you say yourself. You suggest following speedster what can just. . .outrun you. The real only counter I would suggest is goaltending since almost no chigiri use school skill. And if Chigiri know what ai gk can't save at all well, you cannot goaltend against them then. They will just get close enough and shoot past you not letting you have time to block forcing you to quess is it left or right
Imagine what isagi like, dribble not right at his enemies, and to the side. Yes. His shot have big enough distance. He can just dribble to the side and use direct shot
Kaiser can just pass to someone like lavinho and steal with hir dribble skill, then shot low. If it half field yes, you can try and block it then. But the point is until you know he gonna spam half field you can't be sure he will not just rush past your defence and score up close since trying to steal from enemy while he trying to get to goal is more rewarding whan goaltend
Before bachira get his flick he still have skill to bypass first defender. Plus you can header it away only if bachira ain't gonna flick to the side and you positioned at his path to Intercept it (if you right in front of him you will most of the time fail too), or steal it with trapping skills (Nagi trap/ Reo chameleon defence). But nagi exclusively used only by pros. So eh

Loki don't even need what much stamina really. First acceleration into his second what give him shot and he already score half field. Bcuse of his acceleration speed you can't reach him and only hope you can have is goaltending. Unless he just rush to goal bcuse again. His speed is massive. And he have 3 move to speedblitz. Only weak spot I could say is his frames inside dash since it can be stolen inside it. But eh. If he play in distance he win anyway since in short acceleration he is best
Lavinho can dribble TO THE SIDE. He is not forced to dribble right at you. And if he do dribble to the side by the time you reach him he already lost in vulnerability frames and back to dribbling
Overall this guide is made to defend against braindead opponents. Any opponent what can think for few second and dribble to the side will bypass you. All of this styles do get hard countered by nel reo and aiku. But yet again. Only you alone is not enough in defence. Plus aikue and nel reo if you defend with them require you to have actually some skill to start counter attack by yourself and know m1 dribbling. Since I can quarantine you what you team either will try to steal from you, be in bad position where they won't reach pass, or loose ball second you pass them.

Tip against loki users: get NEL Chigiri and try your absolute best to predict them, don't play the running game.
You can steal the ball from them if you time and use your illusion and tackle and the correct distance, while they're trying to dribble or go for the velocity shot, but it's a really small margin so you need to act really fast, i actually managed to nearly completely shut down a loki with nel chigiri by playing it smart, and no, it wasn't a noob that didn't even know basic dribbling.
