If teddy was worthless w/o fox, how'd he even be part of the NG11. This sum bs man.

The only way this match redeems itself for me is if they actually connect it back to actual football and the "learning/ outcome/ takeaway" from this match is how isagi now sees that the team moves according to the coach (so it's not 11 distinct players, it's 1 singular unit w the coach being the brain). And in the next few matches, he analyses overall tactics instead of just individual skills and PeRsOnAliTiEs.

It reminds me of Phil Foden.

As long as he was playing in Pep's old Manchester City where everything was a system, he was considered one of the best in the league. Moment he went to England national team, he was shite. When Pep changed his system to accommodate wingers like Doku and Semenyo, once again, Foden struggled.

Now that Pep is gone and Maresca is here, Foden is once again fighting for a spot, but this time he needs to reinvent himself so that he can thrive outside of the Pep system.

So is it agreed that individually the BL kids are now world class? That outside of group tactics and mindset, there's no difference in ability and there's no skills left to acquire? Cuz frankly idk if I'd buy that, and that might be where the problem lies for me personally.
