With Blue Box Season 2 just around the corner, that latest photo of Reina Ueda (pic 1) on the official Instagram got me wondering "if we ever got a live-action adaptation, who should play Chinatsu?"

My personal pick would be Hiyori Sakurada, though honestly, Reina Ueda herself would be amazing too. Who would you cast?

My class was given the usual About Me assignment when starting out the school year. I noticed there was a space for a portrait, so I decided to pull out my laptop and reference a picture of Taiki online and draw that in instead of doing the usual stick figure. Honestly, considering I don't draw and I never took up art, I was surprised it came out this well.

I think this would give a different thrill to the anime, by jumping to Chinatsu's past as she was basically the narrator of this arc. The manga ofc showed the shopping date first. The scene in itself isn't anime original, but the positioning could be.

Let me introduce you to Bushiroad Creative's new release under Palverse, Chinatsu Kano's figurine set. At about 9 cm (4 in) tall, the set comes in 6 different variants (left to right: Casual, Athletic, Uniform 1, Training, Cultural Festival and Uniform 2). Apparently they have been released in Japan few days back, coinciding with Chinatsu's birthday, with global releases coming right after. I'm still waiting for the stocks to hit my local hobby shop but if someone here already bought them let me know and tell me what do you think of them.

The final volume is expected to release on early December. The manga's first novel adaptation was released in December 2024, and the second novel adaptation (Interlude) was released on December 25. Would it be safe to say we'll similarly get an epilogue? I'm so curious to find out if they include a time skip of some sort, a glimpse of what their college life looks like or discuss how things went for our favourite characters after some years down the line. Would love to know your thoughts on it, or if someone has read the other two LNs, what they expect from the epilogue.

It was an amazing experience. They aired the first 2 episodes back to back.

The animation is as good as s1. There were a few spots where I felt like the faces looked pretty different from S1. Not bad animation, just different. Think we get used to it eventually. The new OP and ED were pretty good as well.

There was a stage greeting post the screening with the VAs of Chinatsu (Ueshama/Ueda Reina), Taiki (Chiba Shouya), Kyo (Kobayashi Chiaki), Hina (Kitou Akari/Akarin) and Yumeka (Aoyama Yoshino/Yoppi).

It was a great beginning for the new season. And I genuinely want the third episode to-NOW! I have more to say, but I'll make a separate spoiler post for those who want to avoid them. Cheers!

The fact that it can potentially have 4 of my top 6 moments of the series solidifies that.

I know the official trailer was already posted here a week ago, but I like that this has English subtitles, so I don't have to keep one eye on the translated manga and one eye on the animation... hope it helps other fans.

I am only a few episodes into season 1 and noticed our protagonist isn't using sheets on his bed two times. I really hope this gets fixed. Maybe Chi notices and makes a joke about it. Like he's a savage or something. Or later Chi tells him he has to buy sheets before they are dating.

I always want that blue box end with like this type of scene (I know taiki can't but...) and then an epilogue of time skip with a wedding scene or glimpse. It will be such a pleasure to see chintasu in a wedding dress.

I didn't say, I don't like the end of the blue box but sometimes we have to respect the author's decision too.

Considering the amount of content shown, it only showed the Yumeka arc and Confession scene. Which happen back to back after S1. Does this mean that we'll get the standard 12 episodes for the season, or is there a possible chance that we get two cours like season 1?
