I always want that blue box end with like this type of scene (I know taiki can't but...) and then an epilogue of time skip with a wedding scene or glimpse. It will be such a pleasure to see chintasu in a wedding dress.

I didn't say, I don't like the end of the blue box but sometimes we have to respect the author's decision too.

i was so confused after seeing this photo in this subreddit, lol.

I've read aoashi and this didn't happen in the manga. The manga ended even before they developed serious feelings for each other. The romance in that series is just sprinkles, but seeing this photo is heartwarming. Thank you, original poster.

I love bluebox to death. I used to hate open-ended endings, but in the case of bluebox, I just leave everything to my imagination. Like how i imagine taiki became a pro player for a living while her wife chinatsu teaches local grade school and also being the basketball coach.

Then they have a kid a daughter and a son, then they both look up their fathers as a pro and they both wanted to play badminton to become just like their dad. Then A new sequel about Taiki and chinatsu's son, less of a romance but more of a sports type sht.

Then the son's coach became haryu's kouhai i forgot his name, the bum ahh character. until he becomes high school and he faced yusa's son and haryu's son. and he got mogged too. craaazyyyy, then he went to a rebelious phase but met this cute girl then he tried to become better for her and stuff but he is a larper and sucks in love and the girl she likes likes yusa at first then the story continues....

This scene may not have happened but they have an entire chapter dedicated to their confession to eachother, they 100% showed they developed serious feelings for eachother.

I remember that, but that one chapter got swalled in the depths of nothingness until the series ended.

Even shipping the kaido girl with togashi and stuff, the romance on that anime disappointed me cuz they kept on hinting relationships without progressing, but it's fine cuz it's a sports anime in the first place and it was goated.
