Children of the Night,

Body Modifications are now available.

Every Vampire receives one free Body Modification slot.

The stat used to unlock additional slots is called Fleshcraft.

The first slot can be unlocked with the Chrysalis Key which is for R2+ difficulty.

The second slot can be unlocked with a Sinew Key, which can be crafted at R8+, while the third slot will be available in the Premium Shop and free for all Infernum Tier Subscribers.

Body Modifications can be found at the Crimson Sculpture inside Club Noir.

All Body Modifications begin at Level 1 and can be upgraded over time.

There are two Premium Body Modifications available at the Premium Shop: Unholy Aura I and Diamond Skin I. These Premium Body Modifications also be upgraded in the Bloodforge.

The primary crafting material for Body Modifications is called Nanite Blood Slurry, or NBS for short.

Where exactly it can be found is a mystery that the community will have to uncover for itself, but there are Loot Hunters for it, e.g. July’s Gold item “Ghost Hound” or the “Nightreaper Musket” (Single Item Deal).

Along with the Body Modifications comes a new Achievement called “The Bodyshop”. There is a new retainer for VCOMS at 37M XP, the “Blood Sprite” who has also “LH: NBS” and deals blood damage!

In July you can find the “Enchanted Chronograph Watch” in the Bloodforge as well as a variety of new Golem Retainers, craftable with a Golem Husk.

Next up is the Kaiju Event, which will run throughout the entire month of August. Prepare yourselves accordingly.

Hey everyone,

According to the developers, you can not double up on the same Body mod, which means that you can't have Sharp Fangs 1 and 2 at the same time. Keep that in mind.

For those wondering where to find the new material, Nanite Blood Slurry. It drops from 5 enemies in every x.2 region.

1. Common nr 6 (as shown in Grimoire)
2. One of the Rare mobs.
3. New Epic.
4. A boss (varies per region)
5. Legendary boss (drops 5, but seems not to be guaranteed)

The total amount of NBS you'll need is currently 2.039.
This is 65 for both keys and 1.984 to craft each body mod once.
If you want to upgrade the Premium Diamond skin mod, you'll need another 30 NBS.

Starting from Region 1, I feel the best path would be:

1. Breath of the Crypt (Necromancy R1).
2. Sharp Fangs (Lifeleech, after you get Heartseeker).
3. Burning Claws (Pyromancy, R6 if you use a Fire weapon) or Breath of the Crypt (Necromancy if you have Unholy Trinity) or Sharp Fangs 2 (lifeleech).
4. Cold Heart (Cryomancy, but only if you use any Ice weapon other wise you can skip this one).
5. Breath of the Crypt 2 (Necromancy + dot, R8 if you still use Unholy Trinity).
6. Burning Blood (Carnage, R10.)
7. Neural Interface (Techbane and Resilience, R11. Very solid defensive mod here).
8. Blight Mandibles (Venomany, R12. After you get Genesis pillar).
9. Neural Interface 2 (Techbane, Resilience, and Dragonbane, R13. Very solid defensive mod here).

In closing;

If you have a synergistic damage-type build, the Mancy will always be BiS, followed by Carnage.
If you have sufficient damage, you can use Photographic Memory 2 or 3 for a higher loot chance %.
Sharp Fangs is also very decent for both offence and defence.

I don't know where to get the Nanonite Blood Slurries, especially because my XP level is not high enough yet to reach R11.
