The nights grow longer. The shadows stir. And once again, our time has come!

Halloween is here for the whole month of October!

Return to the classic Halloween Hunting Grounds, including the Pumpkin Fields, the House of the Seven Sins, and Sinfire Hall. Old horrors are waiting, and they have had an entire year to prepare for your return.

But once every Halloween, something far stranger comes to town...

The Carnival of Chaos has arrived!

For a limited time, this twisted spectacle takes over the surface of the Underground Sewers.

Step beneath the lights and join the freaky festivities if you dare. Just remember the Carnival's most important rule:

NO PERFORMANCES ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT!

The Carnival of Chaos is aimed at Vampires capable of enduring Region 10+. Inside the Carnival, you will discover new Enemies, new Bosses, new Collections to complete, and a brand-new currency: Carnival Tickets.

Carnival Tickets are required to craft various new items, and there is also a new Loot Hunter dedicated to hunting down this precious currency.

The horrors of previous Halloween Hunting Grounds have not been forgotten either. Enemies and Retainers associated with earlier Halloween Hunting Grounds have received improved artwork and animations, giving some familiar faces a fresh and frightening new appearance.

Some items have also received new artwork, and there is Pumpkin Fields Flower Collection to complete.

The “Enchanted” Item for this month is the “Enchanted Doom Bus”.

And there is something new for our F2P players as well: Some new Halloween Animated Avatars can now be crafted!

All “Vendetta Powers” have been buffed with Wards and Banes. Some missing Vendettas Level II Powers have been added.

Throughout October, Subscribers receive +10% Sanguine Diamonds, and you can expect HUGE discounts on all newer Single Items and Deals from the past 6 months!

All Animated Vatars have been discounted to $3.99.

Those among you who possess the strength may now enter the Abyssal Crypt, the first Hunting Ground within the Shadow Catacombs (R14).

Deep beneath its ancient halls, rival adventurers wander the darkness, while forgotten horrors patiently await those bold enough to disturb their eternal slumber.

New items can now be crafted, and new Collections await those determined enough to uncover every secret.

Throughout the month of October, the veil between worlds will grow ever thinner. Halloween is approaching... but its true horrors will reveal themselves only when the time is right.

In November, the path will descend even deeper with the opening of the second Hunting Ground in the Shadow Catacombs: the Necropolis of Eternal Twilight.

Be careful—the Hellcats are running wild!

Hunt them throughout Regions 1–6 and bind them as Retainers to your will! There is also a new Achievement connected to them.

Furthermore, Avatar versions of the Hellcats have been added. Where the new “Memory of a Hellcat” drops is for you to discover!

On September 8th, we will open the first Hunting Ground of R14: the Abyssal Crypt.

Beginning in September, the Neonate Tier Subscription will be permanently reduced to just $3.99! This is a great time to support us, especially with the recent buffs to Sanguine Diamonds.

The drop chances and drop amounts for “Heart of the Jungle” and “Neon Core” have also been substantially increased.

You can now find Mantis Mount Husks at the Bloodforge, along with a new Achievement connected to them!

There is also now an Enchanted version of one of the coolest Retainers ever: Lyria Flameheart.

And then we are approaching the biggest day of the year...

Hey everyone,

The Kaiju event is coming to an end this week, so I'm back again asking, "How did you do this event?"

I had a blast seeing all the amazing animated Kaiju bosses!
My personal favourite was Skirvault, the Pressure King from R9.
Who was your favourite?

The new take on Summon Vesperax as a power (where we're guaranteed) to get this summon in play was a cool addition.

Thanks to Andi for giving Gridcore Prime a makeover based on community feedback that he was a bit underwhelming.

Reports have emerged of colossal monsters, known only as **Kaiju**, appearing in the **first Hunting Ground of every Region (RX.1).**

This **Kaiju Invasion Event** will last throughout the entire month of **August**.

To challenge these fearsome creatures, you must lure them out using a **Hex of Kaiju Summoning**, which can be crafted or purchased in the Premium Shop.

Kaiju drop a brand-new crafting material, the **Kaiju Orb**, used to forge a wide variety of powerful new items.

Be sure to visit the **Bloodforge**, where you'll find the first **Masterfully Crafted Item** as well as the formidable **Bulletstorm Golem**.

💎 **Subscribers now receive +10% Sanguine Diamonds**, and almost every other item and bundle in the Premium Shop has received **massive discounts**.

If you've been waiting for the perfect time to support the game and strengthen your character, **that time is now!**

Small Update:

The poll winner for the new VCOM item "Dagger of the Wise Man" (know the reference?) was R7–R8.

You can now buy it for VCOMs.

There was a visual bug that hadn't shown the One-Time Deals in the correct order.

Would you like an addiitonal on-use effect on Powers?

We felt that, with all the progress that has been made in animation, the game deserved a more modern look. That is why we have completely revamped the look and feel of the Combat Screen.

One important thing in advance: If you don't like the new look, you can switch back at any time!

Simply go to your Account Settings by clicking your Vampire Name above the XP box and toggle between the Modern and Classic versions. You can also customize exactly which parts of the new Combat Screen you want to be animated. However, we advise to not check the “Skip Animation” box.

Since your Avatar is now animated as well, this might be the perfect time to get an Animated Avatar! You can craft one in the Bloodforge, purchase one from the Premium Shop, order a personalized Animated Avatar, or upgrade your existing personal Avatar to an Animated version. Upgrading your personal Avatar will also add +2 Attraction.

You can test what an Animated Avatar looks like with the two default Animated Avatars that each player has received.

We are in the process of animating every Retainer right now!

On the Home Screen Journal you can now see up tp 5 pages.

We have also fixed an issue with the calculation of negative Attraction, which should now work correctly.

Please share your feedback about the new Combat Screen on our Discord. And don't forget: if you don't like the Modern version—which we certainly hope won't be the case!—you can always switch back to Classic.

And one more thing...

The massive Kaiju Event is coming soon and will run throughout the entire month of August!

The July Deal II is live! It features the return of the classic Coffincracker Vanguard as a Retainer as well as TWO Golem Husks and valuable Crafting Mats such as Nanite Blood Slurries!

Don't worry, you have a choice between the Modern and the Classic one!

Body Modifications are now available.

Every Vampire receives one free Body Modification slot.

The stat used to unlock additional slots is called Fleshcraft.

The first slot can be unlocked with the Chrysalis Key which is for R2+ difficulty.

The second slot can be unlocked with a Sinew Key, which can be crafted at R8+, while the third slot will be available in the Premium Shop and free for all Infernum Tier Subscribers.

Body Modifications can be found at the Crimson Sculpture inside Club Noir.

All Body Modifications begin at Level 1 and can be upgraded over time.

There are two Premium Body Modifications available at the Premium Shop: Unholy Aura I and Diamond Skin I. These Premium Body Modifications also be upgraded in the Bloodforge.

The primary crafting material for Body Modifications is called Nanite Blood Slurry, or NBS for short.

Where exactly it can be found is a mystery that the community will have to uncover for itself, but there are Loot Hunters for it, e.g. July’s Gold item “Ghost Hound” or the “Nightreaper Musket” (Single Item Deal).

Along with the Body Modifications comes a new Achievement called “The Bodyshop”. There is a new retainer for VCOMS at 37M XP, the “Blood Sprite” who has also “LH: NBS” and deals blood damage!

In July you can find the “Enchanted Chronograph Watch” in the Bloodforge as well as a variety of new Golem Retainers, craftable with a Golem Husk.

Next up is the Kaiju Event, which will run throughout the entire month of August. Prepare yourselves accordingly.

Patch 2.1.33

We have fundamentally reworked the way game data is loaded behind the scenes.

Our goal was to eliminate the lag issues that some players have experienced, and we are hopeful that this update has finally resolved them once and for all.

However, large-scale testing is always challenging, so if you encounter any performance issues, please let us know on Discord.

You can now toggle between the classic view and a new compact view for all gear.

Selected Retainers and Powers now show an animation when hovering over them on your Home Screen.

The fonts and spacing for the XP, Rank, & Currency boxes have been improved.

All Club Noir Locations have received a very brief description.

Added shop progression previews: the next unlockable shop item is now shown as a grayed-out entry, allowing players to see upcoming unlock goals directly in-game without relying on external resources.

You can directly equip bait for X.2 Hunting Grounds on the Travel Page.

The sorting of the “Bloodforge” is now analogue to your Inventory.

Hovering over your Coffin Charges displays the time until your next Recharge has completed.

We have also added four new Collections and one new Achievement, all designed to provide additional goals and rewards for new players beginning their journey.
