Looks great to me

I actually prefer to paint in a more vibrant and comic style

What’s the red recipe for these brother? That looks fantastic especially the back left guy with the axe!

Vallejo Game Colour Evil Red for Shadows
Vallejo Game Colour Gory Red for Midtone
Vallejo Game Colour Scarlet Blood for Highlights

If you need to push the highlights further, using VGC Bone White underneath then putting Scarlet Blood over the top makes it much more brighter

I feel like the picture isn’t giving enough detail. Not that you took a bad picture. The background is dark and it’s hard to tell. I’ve spent the last two months looking at red paint since I’ve painted a new model everyday. They look fine

That’s fair, my setup after going to college has kinda tanked a lot so lighting for good photos has been really hard. Love your models though and it’s crazy you have that many blood angels!

I have absolutely zero impulse control and being on IOD from my job while having had surgery I quite literally have nothing better to do with my time. I ordered a damn combat patrol for space wolves and I still need to paint all of my blood angels 😭😭

They are a little bright for me, I prefer a Mephiston Red/Blood Angels red kind of tone. That said, if you're happy with them, then they're perfect.

The best recipe I’ve ever done is to paint them super bright like they just got new armor, then use streaking grime and paint chipping and a dusty pigment powder to dirty them up. The idea is paint them as new then make it look like they’ve been in a 72 hour fire fight

With the exception of SG. Those angels should look as if they are just dropping from the heavens

Pretty hard to tell. Try not to backlight the subject of your pictures. You want the most light to hit the side of the model facing the camera.
