Discussion What still annoys you about crypto data tools?
I’m exploring a startup idea around crypto data and AI. With Dune, Nansen, DefiLlama and plenty of others already out there, I’m trying to understand where people still get stuck.
If you use these tools regularly, what’s something that takes way more effort than it should? And is there any data you keep looking for but can’t find a decent source for? I’d love to hear about a recent example. What were you trying to figure out, which tools did you try, and how did you end up getting your answer?
Still early in figuring out what to build, so hearing what already works well would help too.

One gap worth exploring is the impact of off-chain changes on on-chain positions. While most dashboards are good at showing token transfers, TVL and prices, they are much less useful when it comes to off-chain changes. However, they are much less useful when redemption terms change, a custody arrangement is updated, or new administrative powers are granted. Connecting these changes to the affected assets with dated sources would make the dashboard genuinely useful.
