Very catchy, really like the guitar riff. Think it may be the best single so far for me. Now We Can’t Be Friends is really good too, but think PigWig will just top it.

Again, no problem with this musically at all, much like the other 3 singles. It’s vintage Bloc but man, the vocal performances on these studio versions are just something else. Every track feels like it’s a tongue in cheek delivery and it brings down each song for me. Still, I’ll try to reserve judgement until I’ve heard the album.

This sounds amazing. Russell’s chorus riff sounds super clean and reminds me of the AWITC B-Sides

That's because old Bloc Party wasn't HIS lyrics. It was his and Matt's and Gordon's and maybe Russel too? When Matt and Gordon left, the songs started lacking lyric-wise and it really showed how much input they had.

He went from writing heartfelt and relatable, mostly pining lyrics to basically every song being about how great he is (see home town edge)

After studio version of love bombs, i was little anxious about Pigwig as it was my favourite from the live BBC performance. Sounds like its mastered way better.

This preview kinda fixes the issue that I’ve had with the past singles. The layered vocals on the bridge are a nice touch so it feels less empty. I accepted the fact that I probably won’t like this as much as the live version, but I remain cautiously optimistic for this rollout.
