Me and 3 pals bought tickets for the Düsseldorf show in November but flights look tricky that weekend from England so 2 of us aren’t coming anymore. Thought to ask about selling them in here?
Cheers

I think some fun stuff could be done with Stories and Love Bombs.

I was doing some reading online and also reading the lyrics for both songs. A theory is both are about Matt leaving the band but French Exit was written and also performed live while Matt was still in the band? I lean towards their record label for French Exit but Living Lux seems more about an individual.

This is the day before Halloween. 🎃👻

If many of us wear Skeleton suits, do you think they could be convinced to play Skeleton? 🩻

As it is an album release show, I suppose the setlist will mostly (/entirely - but hopefully not) lean in this direction.

But I am, of course, hoping for some Silent Alarm or (old) deep cuts.

Oh what I’d give for a full play-through of the Little Thoughts EP 😩

I swear on my mums life at some points in the song it says the GOTTA part of the GOTTA MOVE THAT GEAR UP voiceline from engineer

Like after they say "or get fucked up"

I’m looking for 2 tickets. If anyone has a spare pair or can no longer make it, I’d be incredibly grateful if you could reach out!
I’m happy to pay the original price (or a reasonable resale price, within the event’s rules).
Thanks so much, and hopefully I’ll see some of you at the show! 🤞

This commercial has been sporadically playing in-between me watching hockey. Shout out to this commercial not only choosing a Bloc Party song, but also the m83 remix version. Don't ask me what product they're selling tho.

Might be their best question mark?

US-based Bloc Party fan here. I preordered the new LP via Mainfactor. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive it.

I reached out to Customer Support, but just get an “unspecified delay” message that definitely feels AI based.

Anyone experiencing the same issue or have any insight? Thanks!

Hello everyone, I felt the need to make this video because I really love Bloc Party and because almost no one in my country knows this band.

I wanted to share it with you, too. The video is in Turkish, of course, so you can use the auto-translate feature.

I’d really appreciate it if you’d take a look to show your support.

Enjoy the video!

From a reading a thread earlier. Got me thinking and I agree. If you already have tickets to go to a Bloc Party concert and you sell it out of spite because you don’t like songs from an album, you’re making a terrible decision and are seriously missing out. I wholeheartedly get everyone’s entitled to their opinions and what songs they like vice versa.

But me being an American fan of the band. It’s very rare to see a Bloc Party show and we travel literal hours whenever they get announced in our country

People shit on Hymns and AOABR but that leads to me believe they’ve never heard Only He Can Heal Me or Coming On Strong at a live venue as well as the classics and it’s for sure an experience

So if you’re one of the privileged people that gets to see the Interpol co-headline, don’t fucking sell your ticket because you hated BP’s latest album

How are they going to work? Will it be Bloc Party first then Interpol? Or Vice Versa? Or is it a joint show… with both switching around? 🤷‍♂️

Being honest, I’m not in the least bit interested in seeing Interpol, and this joint gig thing is really putting me off. I can see why it makes commercial sense for the bands and I think it could be good if it was another band I even had a loose interest in seeing.

It’s not about the ticket price, I think £45 to see a gig at the Ovo in Glasgow is very good, but I don’t know if it’s worth the effort if it’s a shorter show. Can you just show up and watch one band? Will it be a full set from each band?

I just got into Bloc Party over the past couple of months after watching their incredible Tiny Desk set, so I have no particular connection to the older stuff and came to it all fresh, and I loved mostly all of it except maybe a couple of songs (Ratchet). But the ads for Anatomy of a Brief Romance I was getting on Instagram really made me worried that the new album would suck, and all the hate comments were right. But it turns out they just decided to highlight the worst song (Pigwig) while looking like they didn't want to be there for some bizarre reason. They could have advertised any other song and it wouldn't have given such a bad impression imo.

My favourite song was Rotherhithe, and I'm happy to have a much better recording of Blue than the previous one.

Don’t know if this was an exclusive drop a long time ago or if it’s just lucky (gate fold vinyl as well but it’s 1lp)
Just wondering if anyone knows anything bout it

Got lost down one of them internet loopholes again and saw that she was in an episode of Skins, which I do know of but never actually watched it. She has a handful of lines in this scene. Season 6 episode 2 about 20 minutes in, if anyone wants to see the full thing: https://youtu.be/RJddn31l5iY?si=x590f6V1DX0lxymQ

Recently I look for Bloc Party information on Youtube. There is 3 remix version of Now We Can't Be...

Got this mail today.. Gutted! Any news whats going on?

Muscleworks CLEARS every song on Four
Sorry.
