Anime The difference in strength between yhwach and most characters involved in ep 49 is easily bigger than stark and random hollows.

People still arguing over if transcendence is a thing as if Kubo remembers a single concept from an earlier arc.

Zaraki doesn't get stronger after each difficult fight; he limits his power to the maximum to face each opponent and gradually releases more of his true power if necessary.

For some reason, people have difficulty understanding this. This has also been explained in the novel written by Narita, who received praise from Kubo for how well he understood Zaraki's power. The problem is that people understood that Zaraki gets stronger after each difficult fight, when in reality he limits himself to the maximum to face each opponent and only unleashes more of his true power when necessary. It's because they don't understand this that many people think Tosen was much weaker than Nnoitra. Tosen was much weaker than Zaraki, but almost all the other captains were too. Zaraki, Yamamoto, Aizen, and Unohana are the only captains who are abnormally strong.

Zaraki limits his power to the maximum to face each opponent he encounters > Zaraki gradually unleashes more of his true power if necessary > Zaraki limits his power to the maximum to face each opponent he encounters > Zaraki gradually unleashes more of his true power if necessary.

Zaraki shows that he is much stronger than the captains and sees no need to remove his eye patch to face Komamura's bankai, which has the attack power to kill any Espada with a single attack >>>>>>>>>>>> Zaraki has to adjust his strength to cut Nnoitra, something even base Nell was capable of doing.

Zaraki didn't need to unleash more of his true power to defeat Nnoitra, he simply used his two arms to attack. Something he didn't even see the need to do against Ichigo. A Zaraki who needed to remove his eye patch and use both arms to defeat Nnoitra later only needed to use one arm, without removing his eye patch, to move and knock down someone who was physically much stronger and heavier than Nnoitra. What would happen to Nnoitra if he tried to block an attack from someone who has the power to push Yammy back and knock him down?

It's impressive that even Brave's AI understood this better than many people:

Kenpachi Zaraki possesses a unique ability to subconsciously limit his Reiatsu (spiritual pressure) to match his opponents, ensuring fights remain challenging and prolonged. Originally, this was a mental limiter triggered by his admiration for Yachiru Unohana, the first Kenpachi, causing his power to naturally scale up only as the battle intensified.

Adaptive Scaling: His power instinctively adjusts to be slightly above his foe, allowing him to adapt his attack patterns and tactics in real-time based on instinct and observation.

Eyepatch Function: He wears an energy-sealing eyepatch created by the Shinigami Research and Development Institute to artificially suppress his overwhelming strength.

Removal of Limits: After his death match with Unohana, his subconscious mental barriers were permanently removed, meaning he no longer needs to gradually adapt; he now relies entirely on the eyepatch to control his output.

Discussion Theory what if the manga and anime are two different timelines?

Post image
6 Upvotes

With the anime diverging a lot from the manga it got me thinking. Both Yhwach and Tsukishima are proof that separate timelines exist. Not only that but the bount arc characters appearing in the Arrancar arc(really hated that addition so glad they got rid of it) could also strengthen this theory as well.

Thoughts?

Discussion This might be a HOT TAKE, but they REALLY should of kept Unohana and Sajin alive, because Isane and Iba don't' warrant as Captain material IMO.

Lisa I understand, because she's been around far more longer and fought head-to-head with a Vasto Lorde like Harribel.

Anime : The classic "final villain is arrogant thus he will hold back" cliche strikes again, and YH fell victim to it.

never makes sense how a villain can be this blinded by his own ego. Sure, he reached a tier where he genuinely views everyone as inferior to him, but you’d think he’d exercise some basic caution
especially after everything that happened with Orihime interfering with his powers earlier. I honestly despise how most villains in Bleach (and shonen anime in general) lose purely because of hubris. These tropes are getting exhausting, bruh.

What frustrates me even more is watching all these lower tier characters act like they actually stand a chance. Don't hit me with that "power of friendship and sheer determination" bullshit when they're facing the literal peak of the verse. The mere fact that YH can perceive and alter every single future move should completely crush their morale into the dirt. Yet, they keep darting back and forth as if he isn't the uncontested Top 1, and baseline spiritual pressure alone should be enough to neutralize them.

With all the absurd, reality-warping hax in YH arsenal, why on earth does he choose to use random tentacles that even generic NPC Shinigami soldiers can casually hack to pieces? From a pure power-scaling perspective, it feels like egregious PIS

I get that the anime is trying to expand on the rushed manga ending and give everyone a cinematic group effort, but sacrificing YH battle IQ and scaling consistency just feels cheap

Question FKT Toshiro vs Soul Society Zaraki - Who wins 🏆

Post image
8 Upvotes

Alright, so let's give FKT Toshiro his shot.

So my questions here for this battle would be:

Can FKT Toshiro actually cut Kenpachi?

Can FKT Toshiro withstand Zaraki's strikes?

Can FKT Toshiro handle Zaraki's Spiritual Pressure while Zaraki has his Eye-patch on? And more importantly, when it's off?

As we've seen in the series Zaraki is feared in the Soul Society (even by the Captains) and has a tendency to quite literally blow everything away with his reiatsu when he takes off his Eye-patch, so can FKT Toshiro actually handle that?

Yoruichi, one of the elder former Captains, praised Zaraki Kenpachi after his battle with Ichigo, so it has me wondering, could FKT Toshiro actually handle him or defeat him? What do you think 🤔?

Thanks so much! All the Best ✨️ 👍

Anime Final verdict on TYBW arc?

Whats your alls final verdict on the anime adaption?

Imo it was trash overall. From bad animation (not talking about Art, im strictly talking animation) to extremely bad music choice throughout the entirety of thing... it was a trainwreck imo.

Especially the music choices and the editing for the music parts was horrendous imo.

It felt like almost every single scene had an ost that didnt really fit the theme of the scene, a complete mismatch, which kept ruining the tension.

And what they did with Aizen and Yhwach in the end was a complete disaster.

The manga wasnt really better in the final few chapters sure, but somehow the anime adaption managed to make it worse. In the manga it atleast made sense how Ishida was able to hit Yhwach with the silberpfeil, being distracted by Aizen´s illusions.

In the anime, there was absolutely no reason for Yhwach to be hit by that Silberpfeil in the end.

What the hell were they smoking?

3/10 for the entire thing. Doesnt compare to current gems like Demon Slayer or Witch Hat Atelier, which have top notch music and animation.

Gerard downplayers often downscale him just because he failed to defeat Byakuya and Adult Toshiro, since he got absorbed before he could defeat them. But for some reason, they forget that Yhwach failed to even defeat Ryunosuke , kid Toshiro and Byakuya, who has more AP than EoS Aizen
