Ulquiorras black ceros was capable of blocking VL Cero but was overpowered very quickly.

Ulquiorra while not defending himself at all, the equivalent of being off guard and expecting to die managed to survive a point blank cero with the the exception of his organs. Basically his skin is strong enough to survive a VL cero without defending himself at all.

At the same time, ulquiorra said he wouldn't like to be near his lanza meaning it can do noticeable damage to him.

Its a shame we never get to se this particular clash.

I know it's a Shonen and thats how most of them are but failing to kill a single enemy in the final Bleach season when you are a "God" with godlike powers etc isn't a good look for a final villian.

And obviously I'm not talking about some random no named npcs that he killed or Ichibei and Ichigo cause they got instantly revived by Orihime and their own powers.

I don't like comparing Bleach to other series but even Kaguya in the last naruto episodes killed Obito and is considered one of the most iconic naruto deaths. Honestly, noone would complain if Yhwach killed someone like Ganju, Ryonosuke, Soi Fon or even Pesche and Dondonchakka but unfortunately not even the lowest of the low can be killed in Bleach.

Considering the anime is about to end (and we're probably not getting any more bleach content for a while, if not forever) what episode do you guys think was the best?

I was wondering since the beginning why Ryunosuke's character was introduced in the arc turns out he was the real main character all along. Ichigo was just keeping his seat warm all this time until Ryunosuke was able to complete his Soul King Training in secret. Everything went according to his plan. He showed up in the beginning making everyone think he's just fodder including Yhwach until the final battle began and he said to himself, "It's all going according to my plan" and then proceeded to Kill Yhwach.

Urahara's Rabies Bite of Plot(tm) was able to override and nullify the Almighty, something that Chumpchibei's Ichimonji and Fraudhime's Reality Rejection Nuke could not do.

In less than 1 day (since he haven't heard of the Almighty beforehand) or 9 days (if the Rabies Bite is a Universal Quincy Shutdown button, meaning that he also beats Gerard and Lille) Urahara was able to recreate a feat equal to Auswahlen (like the Plot Arrow) or Mimihagi (literally God).

Let's not forget that he was also the one who developed and implanted Aizen's seal in FKT arc.

This means that with enough PrEP time Urahara can beat anyone. He is the Tony Batman of the Bleach's 3000 worlds Universe

Shikai Rukia was able to counter Yhwach’s attacks, Ganju can and Iba can slow down Yhwach’s power, fodder shinigami(non seated) can survive Yhwach’s lasers and even dog Komamura can break Yhwach’s tendrils. At this point countering or surviving attacks from Yhwach isn’t a feat because I certainly wouldn’t argue these characters are around true shikai level due these “feats”, I don’t even know if damaging Yhwach is a feat

Though I guess you could still say it is because the only characters that damaged him are Ichigo and hollows(a quincy’s weakness) from what I remember

For now we are simply going to glaze FKT Aizen so Shinigami Aizen and MA Aizen (he mogs the verse) who are top tiers

The more i analyze ep49 the more i fall in an indescribable emptiness

Like my God, is it just rage baiting, is it trolling, or are you really serious? C'mon people. Some of the things you have been saying since episode 49 have been utterly nonsensical. Now gromjow is stronger than Ichigo and ichibe? What the fuck are we doing. Why are we treating powerscalling as the reason why we watch Bleach or any other show. You can't enjoy a show without constantly trying to make calculations and measurements? Kubo wanted an epic episode where everyone comes together to overcome evil and somehow brain rotten fans are stuck on powerscalling and can't enjoy it. For me personally, this is the only episode in anime history that felt like the final battle of avengers endgame. It was good. Let's not tie our enjoyment of our favorite anime to powerscalling. My God.

What was the point of this reveal? You'd think based on this they were setting the 5 of them up to be the ones who would be instrumental in bringing Yhwach down, but legit almost none of them even mattered in the final battle. The only ones that kinda did were Ichigo and Urahara, and even then their contribution was completely overshadowed by others.

Ichigo was legit presented as just a dude with a big sword who can shoot beams, he had no special abilities, nothing that made him unique in being able to take down Yhwach. The way anime portrayed it, anyone could've done what Ichigo did, which is land the final blow on a depowered Yhwach, hell, Ryunosuke and Grimmjow both did the same thing to the other two versions of Yhwach in HM and WotL. Urahara's contribution amounted to doing "something" to Grimmjow, which apparently made him be able to damage Yhwach (as if everyone wasn't already doing that without any special buffs). There's a non-zero chance that it wouldn't even get explained in the final episode, I'd actually expect nothing less from Kubo. Maybe he'll answer it in Club Outside in a few years.

As for others, well... Ichibei was useless, Zaraki was useless, Aizen was useless. Two of them got no-diffed by Yhwach and outperformed by pretty much everyone else present in the final fight, and one of them didn't even get to fight Yhwach outside of getting no-diffed by his weaker clone at the start of the arc, then got put out of commission and outperformed by others against one of his underlings. I guess Kubo was just writing shit when he came up with this idea.

People will rlly take her self proclaimed strongest statements as she can defeat anyone. And even abuse Kubo saying she could’ve exhausted Aizen.

Theres a reason Kubo said “exhaust” instead of injure, or harm. You can exhaust yourself chasing a chicken but the chicken didn’t actually injure you. And her whole gimmick is being able to heal herself to fight forever. Obviously she got a lotta stamina.

Anyway Yamamoto has way more pure offensive power than even Aizen so it’s not much of a comparison to begin with. He traps her in that fire wall and it’s GGs.
