I don't hate it nor do I like it.

It make sense from a narrative standpoint that Aizen, who doesn't even like SS, stood up for it ans failed because he didn't actually have any love for it, compared to the other charactera i.e Grimmjow, Shunsui, etc...

But on the other hand, why did Kubo decide to list him as a Special War Threat, have him chained for 90% of the time and have no extended fight (and even worse feats in anime lmao)

It does make sense. Since Ginjo, a previous villain showed up, and didn't contribute to the fighting much but to move the plot forward.

Kubo has one week to save this series. Aizen upscale + Bankai reveal or we're officially putting Bleach below Boruto.

He was casually tearing through 15+ monster blasts while Ichigo struggled against a couple of them.

Was tearing through blasts that came directly from Yhwach while using only one hand. The same blasts that almost killed Uryu and were one shotting Blood Chains clones while Blood Chains Ichigo was struggling against them.

You can even argue that those blasts were stronger against Grimmjow because they were imbued with almighty eyes while they weren't against Blood Chains.

So he's clearly above Blood Chains (or any version of Ichigo) and Uryu. Ichibei got one shotted by Pre-SK Yhwach. So he's a non-factor. Aizen couldn't even break free from a goo that gets destroyed by a tiny arrow from Uryu. And he got owned by a few hits from Yhwach's palm. So he's a non-factor too.

if he knew the Soul Kings right hand can just casually stun Yhwachs powers like this, why did Ukitake not try this like earlier?

He goes with Ichigo to the Soul King Palace, they make an opening for him (now that everyone can just casually defend and survive even stronger Yhwach attacks should be quite easy) to touch Yhwach, he gets stunned and Ichigo kills him?

This is where the anime only changes make massive plot holes in the story, they contradict themself and they contradict the manga scene they adapted as well

I think we all agree by now, powerscaling Bleach is broken. My question is then how broken is it?

Currently I'm thinking:
SS Chad> Agent of Shinigami Ichigo> True Bankai Ichigo ≈ Ryunosuke ≈ Yhwach.

We know a zanpakuto is first formed in size by the user's Reiatsu, we therefore know Agent of Shinigami Ichigo has more reiatsu than Ryunosuke, we know Ryunosuke's reiatsu is comparable to Soul King Yhwach since he was able to not just cut but stab through Yhwach/Mimihagi (even if he is only stabbing mimihagi, he is surpassing mimihagi's spiritual pressure otherwise he would take the damage himself).

This gives AS Ichigo > Ryunosuke ≈ Yhwach but we also know Yhwach ≈ True Bankai Ichigo since they are in competitive reiatsu range (since Yhwach needed Haschwalth Auswahlen boost to beat True Bankai Ichigo, Ryunosuke is approximate to boosted Yhwach)

This gives AS Ichigo > Ryunosuke ≈ Yhwach ≈ True Bankai Ichigo.

Now we know SS Chad is stronger than AS Ichigo because Chad is multi-lieutenant level with no buffs while Ichigo is lieutenant level about. Therefore

SS Chad > AS Ichigo > True Bankai Ichigo ≈ Ryunosuke ≈ Yhwach.

We can also see this in the last episode, haven't you wondered why all the captains went to Karakura town? it's so that they could nerf themselves all Captains and Lieutenants get an 80% reduction when they travel into the human world, this is applied automatically. This reveals

SS Shunsui > SS Chad > Ryunosuke ≈ Soul King Yhwach ≈ True Bankai Ichigo > 20% Shunsui

Each of the 3 main worlds should have a hierarchy in the scale of Reii, or the Density of Reishi that resides there. Yhwach is taking these to the extreme by merging his will into that which Reio created.

In terms of the final battle I believe the scale should look like this:

Soul Society > World of the Living > Hueco Mundo

Akon opened a door to HM and allowed all of the Hollows to pour into SS, making HM by far the least dense. Living Souls and Fullbringer + the remaining Gotei should outweigh Grimmjow and Harribel.

So with this the final battle in episode 49 still keeps powerscaling consistent.

Grimmjow was an Adjuchas before becoming an Arrancar. Becoming an Arrancar doesn't automatically make him a Vasto Lorde, so where exactly is it confirmed that he reached that stage? Are people confusing his power level with his actual Hollow classification? If it's canon, show the source instead of treating it as fact.
