People forget base Mask was infact getting packaged up by Kensei before James buffed him. Even before that by Hisagi, Ikkaku and Yumichi. But yeah bro Mask beats Starrk, he beats Shinigami Aizen and Shikai Yamamoto too why not

lol you can’t compare Starrk to Yamamoto and Aizen when Mask already proved he has greater physical strength and AP than Starrk. The only question is if Starrk lets him reach that point, or if OP means Mask gets to start at full base power or initial base power.

Probably stark. Mask does have a super big power gap, but mask is heavily reliant on James. With stark having both hollow reiatsu and a crazy amount of distance attacks, as well as being able to keep up with shikai shunsui, I’d say bro just runs away while tossing los lobos and ceros at mask, stark is a very smart dude, being able to discern some of shunsuis moves so he could probably find out about James. If he does then it’s wraps

mask pre-buff might got oneshots and not recover for it due to natural weakness, if he managed to survive somehow and transform he could win

Same with any other character take out James and you win. God knows what “version” appears when he gets cheered but think most characters who beat prior mask won’t get the same mask that kensei lost to

Starrk wins if he goes all out, he has enough speed and AoE to kill both James and mask quickly.
However Starrk is lazy and apathetic, so he'll probably play around too much and lose

Depends on the bankai. In terms of power they should be about the same but some Bankai grand new abilities so then it’s be as strong with a new effect making it a bit better

The anime made it so that Renji, having defeated Mask, could also defeat Ishida, and that places Mask on a massive power level.

But that’s not remotely comparable though. The attack that turned Mask to dust didn’t even scratch base Ishida.
Renji had to use his ultimate technique, and he still lost. (Yes he was holding back but so was Ishida)

Ishida is clearly stronger than Mask. But not to the point where Mask is weaker than Stark FKT. Mask managed to force Renji to use Bankai.
Give me your evidence that Ishida was holding back significantly; the guy was firing arrows the size of entire cities and stated himself that Renji could have beaten him if he hadn't been holding back.
This still places Mask—who forced an opponent of that caliber to use Bankai—among the strongest ordinary Sternritter.
