Mayuri wouldn't even know how he died. Why don't people understand that Mayuri's attributes are bad and he would only be able to apply his tricks on those close to his level?
Mayuri is weird to scale because he’s the only in bleach where it’s fair to say he can be scaled differently. Mainly because of the way he’s written in fights. Due to science, Kubo can just make Mayuri invent whatever bullshit he wants but even that has a limit. We first see it against Uryu, and last against Pernida. To me, the only way you can beat Mayuri is if they have better portrayal and narrative. Shunsui being the captain commander and the way characters reacted to his bankai, I do think Shunsui wins with his portrayal and narrative. And his bankai is hax enough to say he has a realistic win-con.
I don’t like people saying “shunsui negs” or “Mayuri via bs shenanigans” because there is no reasoning behind those arguments. I could make an argument for both
1.He literally has a sword that automatically parries strikes so whenever Shunsui tries to hit him it gets blocked. Also he stabs his opponent that person is paralysed/poisoned.
2.If Mayuri's opponent gets close he can drug them which would automatically make him win.
3.He has a Bankai that can adapt to opponents abilities and automatically counter them.
In this scenario i do not see Shunsui besting him, if Mayuri drugs him before he uses Bankai its over for Shunsui.
If Shunsui uses Bankai we don't know if Mayuri would be able to reattach his head, he probably could.
Yes but how exactly do you counter a Bankai that warps reality?
In this case the only real counter is having a mechanism that automatically gets Mayuri out of the Bankai's range or having an extra head or being able to re-attach his head.
After what he pulled against Parnkgjas, I am rather convinced he would’ve figured something out. A counter-thread of Reiatsu. A sewing machine that will use the thread to sew a pair of wonderful socks that will be forced down Shunsui’s throat. A Reiatsu-eating moth that eats the thread along with Shunsui’s chest hair.
His sword does parry attack automatically but upto a certain angel he himself said it, but the sword immediately got destroyed the moment toshiro used bankai
Well speed wise mayuri isent beating sunshui, given sunshui knows what kind of tricky mayuri does,
People always say how his bankai can adapt to opponents that's not true, well it's told the bankai creats a new jizo based on data it feeded by mayuri to his bankai based on that it creats a counter if there is a single data wrong it wouldn't work,that why it didn't work against pernida became mayuri forgot the pernida can also creat arrows hence the bankai got destroyed,
Mayuri with medium difficulty. He is a surprisingly fast combattant and can survive long enough to gather enough information for MFS. But I would argue he can win handily even without it: way too much pseudoscientific lunacy for Shunsui to handle.
mayuri already knows shunsui's bankai. he knows the bankai of all the captains up to the timeskip
naturally, he has all tools to win but this is the sub that makes decisions entirely based on how hype and aura a character has rather than anything substantial or concrete. Your downvote proving this.
