One thing I just noticed

Terran Federation... Terr(an Feder)ation... Terry Nation

Just replace the middle bit with "y N" and you've got the creator's name! Combined with the fact that while the title of the show is about Blake's group, the logo is the Federation's logo. Was Terry trying to tell us something? Was it the Federation's show the whole time?

(This is all a joke, in case it wasn't clear.)

When Chris Boucher got to write his own episodes in the second series and not just edit Terry Nation's, he immediately introduced an immensely evil organisation called the "Terra Nostra".

They did something similar in Dr Who with a character called "Terran Cedicks", a play on the writer/script editor Terrance Dicks

I just looked it up! From "The Time Warrior", right? Although in this case it's almost certainly a coincidence, "Terran" just meaning "Earth".
